Necessary for outside mounting of the medicine cabinet and worked well. Looks beautiful.

I know it will look nice once installed, but the screws barely go in and cannot put any more pressure, afraid of breaking the mirror. do I buy different screws or drill hole bigger?

This product is greatly overpriced by Kohler. The lack of a readily available substitute allows them to take advantage of a consumer who had no choice (due to a load-bearing wall with irregular stud intervals) but to surface-mount. Instead of rewarding brand-loyalty, Kohler once again shows an opportunistic pricing policy.

Finishing Touch

Placed our new Verdura medicine cabinet on the side of our linen cabinet in our bathroom. The side mirrors add to the attractiveness of the cabinet. Definitely recommend ordering them with the cabinet.

VERY thin mirror…super fragile. We were very careful handling them yet two of the 4 we purchased broke. It’s a great idea to offers these side mirrors but the frailnrss if them is not good at all.

Nowhere in the description did it tell if there were 1 or 2 sides in the box. I needed 2,so I ordered 2 boxes. 2 came in each box. Now I have to try and return one.

Attaching the screws was more difficult than it should have been. Seems as though the threading was a bit off or the holes were too small. Also, very expensive for what they are.

Got a replacement since this piece came broke . Thinking back should have called Wayfair but delivery was fast.

Looks great...but the installation was marred by terrible customer service after hardware was missing

First...wow, it's too bad that these two side pieces aren't included with the Verdera mirror. It's unfortunate to fall in love with the mirror, only to find out later that you're going to need to spend another $100 to cover up the unfinished sides for surface mount situations.But I digress. My trouble started when this product arrived from...ahem...a massive online retailer who sells everything from A to Z. The side mirrors were there, but the 3/8" screws and screw caps referenced in the instructions were not there. It was around 9:30pm CT what I started the install, and thankfully, Kohler online chat was open until 10pm CT. What I didn't expect is that it took me around 40 minutes to convince a rep that the side mirror kit screws weren't included in the hardware kit of the original medicine cabinet. I tried to convince them that the instructions called for 3/8" screws, but that the original cabinet only came with 1.5" and 2" screws. It didn't matter...they would not be swayed. I finally found some screws in my own assortment of leftover hardware that worked. Less

Holes for mounting screws are not threaded nor are the screws self-tapping making it difficult to install. What should have been a less than a 10 minute install took more than a half hour.

Excellent cabinet but side mirrors should be part of the cabinet, not an additional cost.

When we decided to upgrade to an illuminated surface-mounted medicine cabinet for our basement reno, our contractor informed us that we now needed the side panels to conceal the electrical wire. In addition to a great price, whereas two other retailers offered delivery in 2-4 days (...which is okay), Wayfair offered free NEXT DAY delivery (...actual next day, not the day after the morning after processing)! And it arrived early-afternoon. As such, our contractors were able to install the mirrored side-panels just as they completed mounting the cabinet. I continue to be impressed by Wayfair and find myself turning to them increasingly over other online retailers. We purchased the bathroom accent tiles here as well, and the new pendant light for the stairway is scheduled to arrive today (two weeks earlier than the back-ordered item was promised)!
