Fence Caps
2x2" caps fits perfectly on top of steel fence posts. They are metal, so they should last a lot longer than the plastic ones installed by the fence installers.
We used a post pounder to drive the 2" square Versai fence posts a bit further down than our post holes were dug. As a result, an adjustable open end wrench was needed to square up the post tops. After that, a rubber mallet easily sets these powder-coated STEEL (not composite) squarely on top. They look great.
Not true aize
It was alittle smaller and different then the ones I had. I had to grind the inside of the cap and ege of the post to get it to fit and go on.Tapping the crap outa it with a hammer..Also was shiney not flat in color black...made it work thow.

Perfect fit, actually better than the ones these replaced. Just popped it on, tapped to secure and they also look nice. This small size was hard to find. Good to know if I need to replace any others they are available at a reasonable price at Home Depot.

Fits all 2 inch posts
The color, quality, and fit is perfect. I used it to cap posts I installed. The cap will seal the top of the post so that water and weather does not get inside the post and rust it. Plus it gives a nice finished look to the top of the posts. It has a little hole on one side of it. Not sure what the hole is for. I suppose you could add a screw, but the screw is not provided.
