K2881 undermount sink

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size and drain location. Will be perfect with my new Vanity Danby marble countertop with back splash faucet mount. Can't wait to see the finished product.

So pretty! Installed easily! Template included which my countertop guys were happy about (they did check dimensions just to be safe.

Love these sinks. I was a little afraid that they wouldn't drain well because the bottom is flat, but we haven't had a problem and I love that they are just a little different than the standard bathroom sink. They upgrade the look without being overly expensive.

This sink is beautiful! It’s a very interesting oval shape that I’ve not seen before and it glistens. I under mounted against a light grey thinly veined quartz countertop on a pecan stained cabinet.

Modern and space saving

Great sink, looks modern and drains well- no standing water. Love the modern look and the oval shape gave me additional counter space in my double vanity that a rectangular sink wouldn't have. Great buy, excellent price- very happy even after 18 months of ownership. My only negative was I had to call Kohler for my templates- but they did overnight them to me at no charge. Why not just put them in the box?

Manufacturing Defect in K-2881 Sink

I purchased 5 of the K-2881 sinks. One of the 5 arrived with a manufacturing defect which, with simple visual inspection, should have been caught at the factory. The defect was an approximate 2” crack in the underside of the overflow portion of the sink. The crack would allow leakage if the water in the sink reached the overflow opening. The other 4 K-2881 sinks were perfect.

We purchased this sink in a dark gray. The designer really liked changing up the traditional white sink with the gray. As far as the oval sink depth it works well in our heavily used bathroom off the garage entry.

Form over function?

Bottom of basin has too little slant, so it doesn't drain cleanly. But it looks great!

Ordered 2 of these for our new construction home. (Thunder Grey) A very nice rich grey color. These came in without any blemish. Packed very well! What you would expect from Kohler.
