Great solution to dividing a public deck

We purchased this side awning to use as solution to dividing a shared deck between two cabins on our small resort property. It works great for that and looks sharp. When guests rent both cabins we can open it and allow them the entire deck space. When separate guests rent the two adjoining cabins the divider can be pulled to give each group their own space and privacy. We've only had it for one season, but it has made it through the summer in great shape, and it looks like it'll last at least a few seasons. If it lasts 3 seasons I feel that replacing it at the cost is still a deal for the solution it provides.

Definitely provides shade and privacy. What I don't like is the setup for wood flooring/deck. Get rid of the plastic drywall type sleeves. Use washers and nuts. I'd rather have that and use solid film lube to prevent rust, and loc tite to secure the screen attach point. The sleeves are chintzy.

It does exactly what we need, a bit of a wind barrier when on the elevated deck.

It is sturdy and would work great! We just can’t make it work where we need it.

Box was torn on one end and taped all up on the other. Looked inside no mounting screws or brackets.

Great privacy fence

I seldom wright reviews but this fence is better than expected. It gives me privacy when I am in my swimming pool.

I’m disappointed because I did not realize it had to be drilled into cement to be secured, and I can not use the product and it’s very expensive to return.

Can’t rate better than that. Package arrived open. Second time I’ve had to return one of these.

Customized Placement of Privacy Screen

We lost a great deal of yard privacy when a few well grown shrubs needed to be replaced. So while the new plantings grow, I researched a way to create the needed privacy. Grateful to find this retractable screen through Vevor. My unique usage called for some customization because I lacked the needed wall to mount it to. So I made up a steel pipe with brackets, 1" black pipe and some flat stock. I then drilled the needed hole in the concrete patio to set it in. Other than the custom aspect, the installation was easy. The Privacy Screen is working as I hoped it would

Bought 2 of these to go at end of Patio canopy so did not use the end post. Easy to attach to wall with 2 brackets but do need to check they are precisely in line with packers as brickwork not perfectly flat.

Excellent produit de qualité.

Not great. Worked for a while. Good in a pinch. Honestly, think there are better solutions for hiding stuff or creating a screen.

There should be brackets to attach the screen enclosure to the side of the enclosure. Not everyone has a brick wall to attach to as the diagram shows. I had to get custom brackets made up tp attach the housing to a side post on my deck.

Installed today. All went well. Impressed with the quality. Used these 90° brackets from Home Depot to anchor to the deck railing as I didn't to anchor to my condo wall. This awning provided just the right amount of shade that we wanted.

Though it serves a purpose, it does not let any light through which darkens the outside. The premise for a side screen is privacy but not so much that it’s like a wall you can’t see light through. This needed to go back. At my cost unfortunately. I won’t buy from away fare again for that reason

Exactly what I needed for patio intimacy

It’s a functional product. I think the design could be improved. The retracting mechanism doesn’t reel the screen back neatly. You have to make sure you pull the screen back so it’s level. Otherwise it will jam. The handle is clumsy. Having to lift the screen in to the dock. You’re just lifting part of it upwards and kinking the screen mesh.
