Looks nice, but doesn't last

I purchased this faucet in 2022, installed it late in the year. After about 2 weeks the switch to toggle between spray and solid water flow would not return by itself, you had to pull it manually. After 6 months, multiple leaks inside the faucet (you don't notice until the cabinet floods to the floor) simply due to the internals unscrewing and then the water going up inside the faucet when you turn it on... The spray nozzle is pretty much fully jammed at 80% spray 20% solid stream.

Disappointing

Very disappointed with this product. Installation was pretty simple, but then I discovered that one of the supply lines was cracked and leaking. I replaced it with another unit, and it was fine for a few months, but then the valve for the sprayer began to stick in the pressed-in position, making it necessary to manually pull it back out to turn off the spray function. Then the faucet began leaking at the end of the hose where it attaches to the spray head because it wasn't tightened securely. Within less than a year, there was another leak at the valve, because *it* wasn't securely tightened either, resulting in lots of water inside the cabinet below before we realized what was happening. A few months later, this happened yet again; evidently it's not possible to tighten the handle enough to prevent it from eventually loosening up again on it's own. Finally, a couple of days ago, the hose itself developed a leak just above where it screws into the spray head, just from flexing the hose through normal use. \Sso here I am on the website ordering a new hose for it. Very disappointing for a faucet that is only about two years old.

Only looks good

By far, the most problematic faucet we’ve ever owned in 23 years of homeownership. The button on the back of the spray head started sticking almost immediately. Nothing fixes this. I should have returned the faucet then, but I was willing to deal with it because the aesthetics were perfect for our main sink (we have a 13 year old D*lta on our prep sink that has never failed us). Then a year later the pull down hose starts leaking at the metal collar, spraying water everywhere, right as we are leaving for vacation. I purchased a replacement and it is constantly shedding tiny black bits that clog up the aerator screen. The spray head, which now needs to be cleaned weekly, does not want to thread onto the hose smoothly and the threading of the sprayer is plastic, so even simply reattaching the spray head is not actually simple as it should be. This musty be reattempted several times to ensure the cheap plastic threading does not get cross threaded and ruined. Ridiculous. The final straw is that now, after replacing the hose, something is wrong with the cartridge. We have nearly zero water pressure. It is not the supply lines and not the clogged aerator, as I have addressed both of those issues. It can only be coming from the cartridge and there is no readily available literature or online directions explaining how to disassemble and fix this. At this point, I am throwing this in the trash and going with a different brand. I should also note, we are starting another bathroom remodel in 2 weeks, and will unequivocally NOT be using Kohler products in it or anywhere else in our homes.

DO NOT PURCHASE

After six weeks of our kitchen remodel we were looking forward to having the Kaori faucet installed by our plumber yesterday. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. The water stream does not come out evenly on the sides. Instead of water spraying downward, small streams spit out on the sides getting your arms and body wet. The water pressure is absolutely horrendous as the water aeration is very odd and appears there is none. Overall not up to Kohlers I've had in the past. Will be replacing this brand new faucet and throwing this is the garbage where it belongs.

Maintenance issues | low pressure

Unlike other Kohler faucets, the button on the sprayer is a silver button as supposed to rubber. We're having low-pressure issues and it's not clear how to remove this button so that I can clean it out. There's hardly any how-to videos on the Kaori faucet.

Great faucet

I love this pull down kitchen faucet. However I did not realize in reading the specs on it that you could not turn the spray on and let go of the button so you have your hands free to clean the sink or whatever utensil you’re washing. Really disappointed in that feature. Otherwise it’s beautiful and works great.

Easy to use

We had this faucet installed two days ago. I like it just fine; it works well and looks good. I thought I'd be able to use the spray function without holding the button down all the time, but apparently there is no way to do that. Well, that is disappointing and something I should have checked on before purchase. Something to get used to.

The black color does not show water stains

I’ve only had this faucet for a few weeks but so far love it! Good water pressure. I dislike to use the spray setting in faucets and my husband loves it. What I like about this particular faucet is that you have to have the button pressed for the spray setting so I never turn it on and find it spraying hard.

Great design, poor build and assembly quality!

Bought mine at Home Depot. Easy Install (with the sink removed) but having issues with debries clogging up the cartridge, that causes low waterflow. Removed cartridige, had 5mm long black plastic shavings in the cartridge. Even after clean out I am looking to get a new cartridge because there is still particles in the valve that I can not remove. Last time for me I bought a Kohler part.

Nice, simple faucet

I purchased this faucet 6 months ago and it is a beautiful product. Very easy installation, took about 30 minutes to remove my old one and install this one. My only complaint is that it has already started sticking on the spray function and I have to kind of twist the push knob to turn the spray off. A little disappointed to see this after only 6 months.

[Rewarded Review] Very pleased with its operation and versatility!

We badly needed to replace our corroding kitchen faucet. This one was ideal because it was tall and had a curved spout. And since we didn't have enough water pressure to make our prior sprayer work, this was perfect for us since the sprayer was built-in to the spout. It works fine! We could never before adjust the water over the top of very high pots or get them rinsed thoroughly, but with this unit, we have both the height of the faucet as well as the sprayer nozzle to get the job done. The sprayer detaches by just pulling it out and then pressing the button for the water to come out. It has about 3'+ length, but you really only need to go as far as your sink is big. The upper part of the faucet also swivels, so you can move it out of the way when doing a large pot or pan. The finish is high-end looking and polishes up fine with any towel. The only two things that I found puzzling is why, with all the written instructions, there's no information on the volume of the soap dispenser. We didn't measure it beforehand so now, when we fill it (it fills from the top) we have to guess when to stop (since I'm not tall enough to be able to look down into it from above) before it over-flows or we have a mess on our hands. Also, and this may be part of how you connect it underneath the sink (we had installers do it for us) but no where does it tell you which position is hot and which one is cold. You just have to let the water run for a bit and figure it out yourself. Also, no warranty card or anything else came in the box except a two-sided sheet of paper showing you how to install. Anyway, our installation went great and it works fine, so all is good. But including the information that didn't come with it would have been helpful.

[Rewarded Review] Amazing Features

A couple of features make this faucet great. It can be installed to replace a 3 to 1 hole faucet. We did not install the soap dispenser due to our dishwasher needing a vent. The head keeps attached to the main faucet piece via a magnet which keeps the faucet looking sharp. The spray head in the spray (vs. stream) mode forms into a linear rather than circular shape, which seams to enable better control of where the spray goes. The temperature and water volume provides a wide spectrum of control with smooth action. It matches well with our metal sink. Wish we'd bought it earlier

[Rewarded Review] Nice upgrade

This faucet was a nice upgrade to my kitchen sink! It was super easy to install and easy to use. I can’t believe I didn’t have one of these long ago! It makes doing dishes so much easier and easy to spray down my sink with the pull down feature.

[Rewarded Review] sleek design

I absolutely love my new kitchen faucet from Kohler. It has a sleek design that made my kitchen sink look new. It was a total upgrade. I love the finish on it. It is not coated with a paint that will chip off. It was super easy to install right out the box without needing anything other than a few tools we had. I love that it is a pull down sprayer. The sprayer actually sprays in a way that doesn't cause a lot of splash. It also comes with a soap dispenser which is very convenient because it gets rid of excess clutter on my sink. The flow of water is a little slower compared to my old faucet but I believe it has something to do with being more efficient and is not that big of a deal. Kohler made a great faucet and I am extremely happy with it.
