Couldn’t Be Better

The item was exactly what I needed to adapt a vintage sink to my new kitchen—correct color (honey brass), correct size, correct look. It was easy to order and arrived the next day. I couldn’t ask for more.

Fits perfectly with my faucet. In fact it is so beautiful that I’ve set up special lighting for it over the sink. This escutcheon gets me compliments from every guest I have. My sister even offered to buy it off of me because of its beauty and construction. My confidence in my kitchen has made my life for the better. I don’t know if I’ll ever ever be able to remove it. Hopefully it’ll last the next hundred years. Maybe my children will order them for their kids for Christmas at some point.

The escutcheon is quality too and enhances the look of my Tone Faucet.

Again, I am glad to see that the escutcheon is a high-quality piece as well. It enhances the look of my faucet while covering the existing holes.

I hate this escutcheon

I really hate this escutcheon, but it was the only one that was long enough to cover the holes from the original widespread faucet and that matched the color of my Kohler Artisan faucet. I actually had a previous Kohler Artisan spray faucet with matching escutcheon. It died, so we needed to replace it. I got a new one and ordered the matching escutcheon as well. Guess what? You need a full 10.5 inches in length to cover holes from a widespread faucet. The old escutcheon met that length; the new one was 10.25 inches and that quarter-inch made all the difference. There was no way to position it to fully cover the old holes. Tried to use the old escutcheon from my previous Kohler - no joy as the shaping where the base of the faucet meets the escutcheon is different (wider for the new one). I hunted Kohler's site and found this flat one. All I can say is it's long enough and does the trick - that's all. It's flat - completely flat - with straight sides. It's perfectly shaped to trap and pool water on top - all the time! I feel as if I am constantly drying pooled water off. So, yes, I hate it. I need it, but I hate it.
