Greenish hue, not white
The color of these tiles isn't really white, it's a greenish gray which I found off-putting. It was hard to capture the true color on camera; the attached photos are the best I could do. I also included a photo of the underside of the tile so others can get a better sense of what these look like.
Cute
I purchased this thinking it was a wallpaper, but when it came in I was surprised to see that it’s a wallpaper cut into squares to look like tiles. Every tile has a peel-off sticker around the edges and one going across in the middle. The material it is made of is also very nice…it’s almost like plastic.
Beautiful temporary tile.
It came out very nice with some tweaks. The double stick tape isn't enough to keep it down, I also added some edging to make it look like real tile. But at $20 for 4 sq feet, that's pricey.
[Rewarded Review] White Tin Tiles
Beautiful white tin peel and stick tiles that easily revamp any boring space to a magnificent art piece.
[Rewarded Review] One Drawback
These thin tiles are very pretty, and look just like the picture. However, I was expecting them to have a peel-off backing from the whole tile; instead, there are strips around the edges and one down the middle. This is not useful if the wall (I'm using it around my sink and counter area) had lights, outlets, etc. While they include some extra strips, I can tell it's not going to work. I ended up removing all the strips from the backs by peeling off the plastic, then soaking the tile in hot tap water for a couple of minutes. This enabled me to remove the sticky strips. I will mount them using double-sided tile sheeting instead. I haven't done so yet, but I'm hoping this will allow me to customize the pieces better to fit in awkward areas.
[Rewarded Review] Easy and affordable
I love how easy these are to use. we added caulk adhesive to be sure the7 were secure. These are easy to work with and much more affordable then other options.
[Rewarded Review] Attractive
The raised print is quite attractive. Overall impressed with the quality.
[Rewarded Review] Beautiful Design
White faux tile with an off white, grey silver embellishment. Beautiful design. Highly recommend for bathroom backsplash or laundry room. Sadly wanted it behind my stove / kitchen backsplash and not recommended near fire so had to return.
[Rewarded Review] perfect and priced right
I used it to cover the grossness that was what was once covered by the oven/stove hood. I spray painted black high gloss and it looks amazing. use lactite sp ray to get good adhesion.
[Rewarded Review] Very pleased with the style.
Absolutely love the look of this backsplash in my kitchen. Very easy to cut and work with. I just used scissors. The only negative is they don’t stick very well. Bit I used tiny nails to attach to the wall and you can’t see them!
These tin-look tiles transformed my kitchen, giving the backsplash a lighter, fresh look. Though they are vinyl, once they're on the wall, they look authentic! They were easy to cut (with a scissors) , easy to work with, and an inexpensive way to update a 25 yr-old kitchen. Glad I bumped into them @ Wayfair!
Very functional and elegant! I over ordered because I misunderstood the amount per package, (4). I'm happy I did because I like them enough to use the tiles as an accent on other items. For instance, I covered the doors of a small cabinet with the extras.
I bought this as an accent for a small shelf that was previously an imitation dark plastic looking horror.
[Rewarded Review] Rustic Beauty
So, the name was a bit deceiving as this is not tin at all, but more of a soft rubbery texture. It has a charming distressed look, which suits my decor perfectly. I had planned to purchase more, and use them as a backsplash when we redesign our kitchen, but have been unable to locate more of these.
Overall Good Tiles. Bad adhesive.
The tiles are super cute and help add that extra something to the kitchen. I wish there was a better adhesive, though. The 5 thin strips of basic double sided take isn't the best. In about 18min the tiles started peeling away from rhe wall. Will probably have to use some adhesive glue to make sure it stays on.
[Rewarded Review] Doesn't stay
Super cute! A nice soft white. Comes in a clear plastic pack. One corner slightly bent. They're not very well protected in the package. They have a shine to them, I wasn't expecting that. But still cute and for the area of wall I wanted to co er. A generous sized square, light weight, easy to cut and manipulate. However, the backs are horrible. The way to stick is with stick tape. Ok, easy enough to remove the plastic liner on the tape, but one line pulled off the square as I was removing the plastic lining. I stuck it back on quickly enough, but within 4 hours two squares fell off. These will require much better way to tack to a wall.
[Rewarded Review] Trendy!
The RoomMates Tiles are really nice. I got the washed out tin looking tile and they really
[Rewarded Review] Great quality and more!
The hardest thing to decide was where to put this tile? I chose my bathroom. There were some "holes" in the wall from towel racks that looked awful so I chose to tile over them. These tiles are not only beautiful but easy to cut with a box cutter or simple scissors. I debated on painting the tiles at first to match the wall color but decided that the "pop" of color was exactly what the wall needed. These are very lightweight like a sheet of paper almost but they are durable and you can wipe them
[Rewarded Review] Beautiful but adhesive isn’t great
While these tiles are beautiful, there is not much keeping them in place. There is a strip of the peep and stick adhesive around the outside of each tile and a thin strip down the middle. After a few hours, the tile started to separate from the formica wall I adhered it to. I will be trying to find a stronger more permanent solution because I really love the design. It’s beautiful.
[Rewarded Review] Nice way to update
These room mates stick tiled cane with four titles in pack. They measure 10.5 by 10.5 inches. Stating it covers 3.06 square feet. I got the faux tin design. There is a border of sticky tape that needs to be removed to adhere to the wall. You need ti measure your area then clean the area before application, then peel the paper back to stick. I was able to put them in our down stairs bathroom, around the sink.
