I ordered the original "Vidalia Chop Wizard" , I was sent the newer version of it. I have had my original one for approx. 12 years. It has always worked great. The new design seems a bit less sturdy and comes with an additional slicer blade. However less material is used in the assembly and the cutters do not cover the entire base making it seem a bit weaker in design. I use this very often for dicing and chopping tomatoes and onions, so it wont be too long before I know how well it holds up. This does work fantastic for even sized bits of food for salsas and bruschetta. it makes work fast and easy.

I absolutely love my Vidalia Chop Wizard!! It chops everything up in perfectly sized pieces with two blade sizes., %26 the container even measures too! I can quickly chop vegetables (especially onions- no tears!) for my favorite recipes.

I broke my previous chopper that I’ve had for over 10 years. I was looking for replacement parts when lo and behold, Walmart had the entire product at a better price than ordering parts. No-brained! Get a new one!

I've used this product for years but had to replace mine. I cannot find it anywhere locally. I've tried other manual choppers, and this brand is the very best. Price onlune is about 33% higher than when it was available in stores.

GREAT CHOPPER

This is the BEST chopper I Have ever Had. I Love that it has 2 different size chopping blades. I use this chopper daily for all my cooking needs.

I got this to help make nice cube shaped cuts for relish (canning). Good quality plastic and parts. I am happy with my purchase.

I hate this thing

I hate this thing. My husband got it for me. I believe he got it for significantly less than the cost listed here. I used it once. It took a lot of force to "chop" the onion I had already sliced relatively thin. That's the thing - you have to slice whatever you are wanting to "chop" because you have to REALLY REALLY PRESS HARD to get this to work. If you store the onion in the tray with the lid, be prepared for your fridge to stink, due to the gap between the container and the lid. After you disassemble the product, you will need to try and scrub out all the tiny pieces of onion that stick in the grids. There is a plastic claw provided to rake through the protruding grid. This takes an insane amount of water to rinse it under, in order to make sure it's clean. All in all, I will stick with my finely sharpened Henckels knife and a paper plate on top of my wood block as my tools for cutting onions (and everything else). Simply toss the plate and run a hot soapy sponge over the knife before rinsing. Save your money and don't buy this. Especially at this price point. I hate it so much I even went to the "As Seen on TV" website to review it (that's where hubs got it). Guess what? Their site won't accept new accounts. I think I know why. . .

I have had 5 in the last 10 years. I love it it saves a lot of time and what I chop is uniform and neat. It is also therapeutic because I use my fist to hit it to chop onions that’s why I have bought so many and why I have been married 43 years.

My favorite kitchen gadget. This is the absolute best chopper/dicer in the world. I love mine so much I ordered one for each of my 4 daughters. Normally when I purchase based on a TV ad I am disappointed, but definitely NOT this time. Highly recommend!

Good product for cutting, but base needs improved.

I have had one of these in the past, and I really love the way it cuts things up with the two different types of blades. However, the base can crack too easily when much pressure is applied so it does need improvement. I decided to order another one since I couldn't find another base, but the one I received was missing a hinge on the side which made it useless. I think I will buy the newer edition now instead and see if they improved the base.

Easiest dicer you'll be glad to have

Save a lot of time when needing to dice veggies for a meal. Over time when the lid sticks to the chop blade, use a little cooking oil. The chop wizard stands up to a lot of work.
