These were almost impossible to get a good enough grip for salad. I only bought them to replace my more utilitarian stainless tongs (that are actually restaurant quality) . I returned them.

Lovely serving piece

I am always in need of serving pieces. It is difficult to find serving tongs that look nice to use for serving, as opposed to cooking tongs that look more utilitarian. These fit the bill and are priced well. I have not used them yet so I can’t comment about how they “clean up,” but I am happy with them

These tongs are more attractive than the French brand ones I have, however they are almost impossible to use . My husband and I both found them difficult to pick up salad with( which is why I bought them). I will continue to use my less attractive ones that work well although they are not really as attractive .

Beautiful, reasonably-priced serving tongs

It's beautiful and well-made. One critique is that it doesn't have a locking mechanism to keep it closed. Those tend to rust or break with time, so it's a small issue, but it would be nice if it came with a simple collar to close it when stored.

These are high quality tongs at a reasonable price. They are just the right size for serving cakes and bread rolls and make an elegant addition to my table setting. Just what I wanted.
