Perfect chairs!

Absolutely love these chairs, we have 6 of them. They are comfortable even without a cushion and heavy- we like that. The black looks amazing and has stayed cleaned looking. We get compliments every time we have guests. Highly recommend and will continue to purchase more items. Thanks! Oh and putting together is no big deal at all, easy.

Our vintage dining armchairs in coffee color are very pretty. They are heavy, sturdy, and comfortable; everything we need them to be to withstand the winter wind and summer dining on the deck.I am looking forward to long lasting beauty and minimal upkeep.We are very pleased with them.

Solid chairs, arm screw plugs pop out when you attach the arms

The hardware used to attach the arms forces out the plugs so you can see a sharp screw on the back of hte chair once the arm is attached, and the plugs don't fit with how close to the edge the screw protrudes. Seems like a specialized plug that can fit in the hole once the arm screws are in place would solve this. Overall, not the quality I expected for how much these cost and I submitted a warranty claim about this.

Well Worth the Wait ! Exceeded Expectations!

I had a new patio installed and was looking at all options for furniture. Thinking about “up cycling “ I went to look at teak /wood furniture for sale! What I saw is that all of the aged teak looks horrible without the maintenance done and required in New England. That was not something I wanted to add to my life.Enter “Polywood”Easy to assemble, I did it by myself !COMFORTABLE! who wants to be uncomfortable in your relaxation space.?Looks gorgeous!Helps the planet!No maintenance!Satisfied beyond my expectations. Also the company was great communicating prior to shipping. I was anxiously awaiting this new set. I only wish I had need for more Polywood ! The only thing you should be asking yourself is why don't I have this already ?

One chair is missing an arm, I can’t get a return message from you online request for the left arm.I’m so sadly disappointed that this is how your company is ignoring my request.Im honestly ready to put it on Facebook so that people are aware that you don't reply to customers after you send two right arms for my chair.Rather embarrassing when company comes over.

Five Stars Plus !!

Five stars plus! From time of order until delivery, communication from Polywood has been stellar. The furniture arrived on the day we planned, and exceeded our expectations when we unpacked it. The chairs are sturdy ut comfortable, and their weight will withstand some crazy storms that we get. My only concern/hope, is that they don’t get too hot in the summers months. Time will tell, but otherwise we are beyond satisfied!

Good for the money. Not perfect.

Looks great. Assembly wasn’t bad. My only complaint is the finish on the pieces isn’t great, like they don’t sand to eliminate the excess plastics and seams from the manufacturing process. I didn’t expect this after having competitors pieces, but at half the price I’m okay with it.

Nice but factory missed a key part of assembly.

Overall nice chairs. Only complaint is one of the cross members wasn’t screwed in from the factory like the other 4 chairs. Matter of fact it doesn’t appear there was even a pre drilled hole. The crossmeber promptly fell out after its first use. I’d expect better quality control before leaving the factory for the price paid.

All of the chairs came pre assembled and only had to add arms for the two arm chairs. High quality and sturdy chairs. Also comfortable but would recommend adding seat cushions.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

I'm glad you requested my opinion. I have lots to say. Let's start with the fact that you are selling a product that has a relatively premium price and you require full payment at the time of order. In my case, Polywood did not live up to my expectations.Delivery: I received a notice that the order would be delivered between 8 AM and 8 PM on a certain date and that signature was required. I spent that entire day at home. No delivery and no notice of delay. Two days later I received a call from the carrier to reschedule delivery.Unboxing: Before I had even removed chairs from the box, I could see that leg braces were not attached on two chairs. No Quality Assurance either in the factory or the packaging department.Customer Service: I sent a message to customer service indicating I would attempt repair with their guidance on proper screws and pilot holes. More than two weeks later, I still have not received a reply, and I have even followed up with a second message. I'm assuming that customer service is overwhelmed with complaints from other purchasers.Product Satisfaction: Two thirds of my order met most of my expectations for a premium-priced product. The one thing I noticed is that several chairs have color blotching that appears to be caused by incomplete mixing of the coloring agent in the resins. This is minor and had no effect on my review, but it does reinforce my observation about the lack of quality assurance.In summary, I could envision see a 5-start review if I hadn't experienced the quality and customer service problems. Polywood is focusing on sales at the expense of customer satisfaction and they will need to regain my trust before I recommend them to anyone else. Less

We love the chairs. The only thing we don’t like is that they leave slight black scuff marks on our grey deck. Our next purchase will probably be a table.

Nice product, poor quality control and customer service

I like polywood, I bought a couple chairs a few years back that have been great, super durable, and easy to clean. The chairs came well packaged, are comfortable, and arrived assembled with the exception of the arms. I can see why they come mostly assembled because there has to be no quality control check. I ordered eight chairs, I can only assemble four because seven of the sixteen arms are missing holes for the screws. Some of the holes are off so you have to force the alignment, luckily there is a little give in the material to make it work, I hope the tension does not shorten the life of the joint. On top of that, one chair was assembled but missing two screws at the top of the chair to hold the back together. I reached out to Polywood as directed and provide pictures of my issues, the website says to expect a reply in 3-5 business days, it has been 8 business days and I have not received any response. Less

Chairs are very comfortable. They look great and are well constructed. The Polywood material is by far the best for outdoor living. Excellent quality.
