Chair looks good, although it is just a plastic chair covered in leather. I am giving this a 1-star because after less than 1 month of actual use, the bottom of the chair - plastic and leather snapped and broke while an average sized person was seated. Because the leather also is broken, there is no way to fix. And because I bought the chair months before I could use it, it cannot be returned.
This barstool is a great addition to most any room. The gold metal base is very upbeat and current, yet the vintage leather grounds the piece. The stool can be used in a number of design style settings and is a very comfortable stool.....love it!
