Good size for hiding the remote and other small items that end up around the coffee table. Deep enough to hide glasses with a case. Material on outside is velvety, so might catch a lot of dust. Will need to be vacuumed instead of wiped.

The material is velvet which I didn’t know but it looks great. Bigger than I expected but only a couple inches taller than my normal books

This is my third purchase on this vintage decor box. Exterior is velour I’m assuming and the stenciling is nicely done making the storage deco box stand out.

This is a really nice hollow book for storage. The outer is so soft seems to be velour and it has gold pin striping. Don’t know if it’s hand or mechanically done (pin striping). But looks and feels nice.

Great Gift to put tickets and such!

Well made, unique gift!

I got this for my son as a Christmas present. He has a few pieces of jewelry he's always misplacing, so I wanted to get him a trinket box.. this one was more unique than the wooden box ones I looked at. I know he's going to like it and there's plenty of room for him to keep other little valuables, he has a couple bottles of his favorite colognes he could fit in it too.

I was pleasantly surprised by this! The quality is so good! The velvety covering is nice. I got the dark green and it has lovely gold accents. It’s an elegant piece that will fit into my decor nicely! Shipped well in bubble wrap and heavy duty box. Very pleased, would buy again.

Nicely made for a good price

This is faux book is large enough to hold a multitude of items and keep the house tidy while looking great. It's good for anywhere in the house you need storage for small items that seem to disappear if not contained.

Very cute gift!

I ordered this book for my daughter for her trinkets. She loves that she has a secret hiding place for her Shopkins and other fun things. It would also be great for adults. When it's on a bookshelf you can't tell that it's a faux book and would be a great hiding place for valuables. I am going to order one for myself.
