Not as pictured/ has a one-way weave

I love the rug in the picture. It is more gold than taupe, which is what I wanted. However, it is only gold and ivory. There are no darker colors in it as shown. But our main objection is that it's a one-way weave. It appears nice when viewed from one end, but from the other end it is just a reflective mass with no detail. In addition, it shows every scuff and vacuum mark due to being a one-way weave. Too bad, as the photo is beautiful!

Other customers have written about the same problem with this particular rug. The pictured rug had red highlights throughout. The rug I got did not have any red in it. Customer service said Safavieh uses various dye lots for the same product -- some with red and some without the red. Totally unsatisfactory. Hope Depot and Safavieh never got back to me with a remedy.
