Love the look of this comforter. It really is very pretty and I've received several compliments on it. It seems like it's good quality, thick and warm. Only real complaints are 1) the king size (which is what I purchased) barely covers the mattress. On one side or the other you can see a little bit of the sheets (maybe an inch or 2) depending on which side I pull to be even with the mattress, but it does not cover my king mattress like it is shown in the Wayfair pics...not even close, and 2) the damask design isn't centered on my bed. Maybe it's not supposed to be like that, but just in case that's what someone is expecting, mine isn't centered. Despite this, it still looks very pretty and overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.

Worst bedding ever! Looks beautiful but the fabric of the design sheds every where all over your clothes and body,. I even tried washing it hoping would make it better, but no the cotton stuff was all over washer and dryer lint tray full. Even still sheds, was even on my cat. Tried to shake it and got in my eye. Bad product!!!

I love this comforter so much I've bought it twice! The first one had a hole ripped in at after a mishap with my kiddo. It's not too thick that it isn't comfortable in the summer and I generally add a thin quilted coverlet underneath it for cooler months. It's soft and comfortable and looks beautiful!

Beautiful but not worth it

Beautiful, but hard to clean

We have had this comforter for about 10 months and think it is beautiful. I agree with the review below though, that it is very hard and messy to clean. Though the listing states it is machine washable, each time we have washed it large clumps of the comforter come off into our washer, dryer, and floor. The dryer catches many of these, but even when putting it back on our bed, many small pieces continue to stick to our sheets and our floor. It is beautiful, but please be careful washing it!

It is pretty, but the chunks of fabric that shed get in our eyes and we inhale them. I tried several times to wash and dry per the instructions on the tag and the shedding will not stop. Do not waste your time. It is awful. It makes or noses itcb and when you inhale the tiny fabric it makes us cough.

Exactly What I Wanted!

This is the comforter and pillow shams I have been looking for! I bought a different one and the quality was terrible. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to try again. This one is fluffy and excellent quality! So glad I did. the queen is long on the sides. the pattern is old/modern. It’s perfect!

Chenille 100% Cotton Comforter Set

Really nice chenille comforter set in 100% cotton fabric with a polyester filling. It is a beachy and boho design. I added some blue pillows for a pop of color. The tag says do not iron so I would suggest to dampen the sham and ruble dry low to get the wrinkles out. The fabric is nice and thick. This is the kind of comforter set that is good for weather year round, warm enough for winter months but light enough for summer months.

Simply gorgeous!

This Madison park viola three piece queensize/full bedset is exactly what I have been looking for. I have been looking for a cotton comforter forever. They are so hard to find anymore. This one with the chenille is absolutely gorgeous! The white color goes with anything and is so fresh and crisp looking. I love the puffed up texture of the chenille. It really stands out. A couple things that stood out are the chenille texture, the softness of the comforter and the beauty it brings to my bedroom. I love the design too, it really does stand out. It really is an awesome comforter that is a great addition to any bedroom. I am so glad to have mine. It really looks great in my room. Highly recommend.

Pictures of the item online are beautiful. That’s the main reason I purchased it. Unfortunately, the taupe color is actually beige. Not too concerning because I prefer the actual color more than the color advertised. The chemical smell that came with the comforter has lingered for days and at times is almost unbearable as well as the ridiculous amount of shedding. Really concerned with the longevity of the comforter with all the shedding that’s taken place in just the first week of owning it. If had the choice again, after what I know now, I would have purchased a different comforter entirely.

Ordered this for our new bed which arrived yesterday. We washed it last night and put it on the new bed It is falling apart after one wash. Fuzz and pieces everywhere. Very disappointed based upon the price we paid for it. Unfortunately it is now past the return window as I ordered it when we ordered the mattress (upgraded to king from queen) so I couldn’t try it before. Not as pretty as the pictures either. It is a nice thickness though. Now I have to find something else as we used it last night and there is pieces of the deign all over the bed and floor. Not worth it at all.

Beautiful comforter, great value

Really pleased with this comforter when I pulled it out of the package. I have a queen bed on a low profile 4" bedframe, an 8" box spring, and one of those newer 16" hybrid mattresses. I ordered the king, and so glad I did. It fits my queen bed perfectly. There is a little shedding, but nothing terrible. The only thing to mention, I thought the trim looked like a satin material, but it is cotton, and is very wrinkled. I may end up running an iron over it. All in all this is beautiful, warm, and just what I was looking for. Good price too!

We are really enjoying this comforter in our master bedroom. It's beautiful, sophisticated, soft and a perfect weight - not too heavy and not too light. It arrived on time and in excellent condition. Upon opening it up, we noticed there was a very slight chemical smell but it had dissipated by the next morning. We originally ordered one for our son for his house but somehow received and were charged for two. After seeing how lovely it is, we decided to keep the other one for ourselves instead of returning the second one! Really brightens up our bedroom and will be perfect with the throw pillows we already have. Would highly recommend it!

Nice quality comforter

I like how this thick this cover is without being too heavy, almost feels like a light weighted blanket. It is a nice heavy fabric and certainly keeps me warm on chilly nights. I just got a new fancy washer and dryer and it was hard to dry it but I guess that is expected with a king sized comforter. It feels very well made and seems to be great quality although it does shed a little. To be honest, I wish it were a little more brighter white so it stands out more against the beige. Overall it is still a nice neutral color combo. The size of it fits very well on the bed as well as the shams which are comfy to rest my head on. The material is not scratchy or itchy. If you like the pattern it is a great buy.

Love the Set!

This color combination is exceptional, it goes with many different wall colors and decor. The comforter itself is light and just right for the season. The size fits oerfectly on the bed. The material is not scratchy or itchy. There is no holes nor stains. The pillow shams are perfect, just the right softness for my head to lay on. There was no issue with the chenille after washing. I just fell right to sleep after putting this on the bed. Color is true to the picture. The whole set makes the room look great now. I love how it gives it the room appeal just by the looks alone. I get a lot of compliments on it when guests take a look at the room. It has a classy feel to the way it was made. I'm super happy with the set!

Sleeping in Comfort Mostly!

This is a very nice set with matching shams. I feel like I have a genuine nice comforter with matching shams set at last now. The thickness is just right for this season, which is Spring. The color is very easy on the eyes and goes with most other decor and colours on the wall. It has a beautiful design of chenille on the comforter and the shams. The quality is nice, but the only thing is the chenille was very slightly coming off. That was worrisome as I don't want it to enter my breathing passage ways while sleeping.

I firstly want to commend Wayfair for its prompt delivery, especially given the pandemic we’re facing causing major delays.

I’m between a 3 and 4 so I guess like 3.75 lol. White is definitely white and not an off white. You can see the comparison with my ivory bed. It had a strong chemical smell upon removing from the package. It was packaged in a plastic zipper thing as most bedding sets are. I opted to hand wash/soak it in the bath tub for several hours with “free and clear” detergent. It did remove the smell. I did dry it in the dryer. Took a while and decided let it finish air drying. There was a very small amount of lint in the dryer which I was pleased to see. Some reviews stated they had a lot of “shedding” with theirs. I have not had that experience at all. It is ok in terms of softness. Could be softer but it is still comfortable to sleep with. I would say it’s a medium weight. I haven’t experienced any sweating due to the comforter. So far I am overall pleased with this purchase.
