My glass uv tube arrived broken and working with customer service has been a very tedious process.
Shine the Light
Today, I serviced my VIQUA S5Q-P/12VDC by replacing the UV lamp and Quartz tube. I ordered the annual service kit from Fresh Water Systems and it arrived with the UV lamp already inserted inside the quartz tube plus the two O-rings. All I had to do was slip the Quartz tube/UV Lamp assembly into the VIQUA unit then install the two O-rings. Easy-Peasy the annual service was completed. I never had to handle the UV Lamp - as we all know, touching the UV lamp can decay its operational life.

The UV lamp and the quartz sleeve were easily removed and reinstalled very nice product. My system is mounted horizontally and had no issues at all
