Great bunk bed. Very sturdy and well made. I purchased this for when family comes to visit. The kids love it! It's a special treat to sleep on bunk beds when they come stay with us!

Attractive and sturdy bed. Had to contact the manufacturer to get replacement parts because we had two lower bunk slat kits but no upper bunk slat kit. It took about 10 days to get the replacement.

The Perfect Bunk

We bought this bed for my son's. The full over full gives each of them plenty of room and the color is a beautiful dark wood. It was easy to construct. We finished in less than two hours. They have been sleeping in it for about six months and we have had no problems.

Best bunk bed for teens and adults. Rock solid wood construction. Easy to follow instructions and extra hardware included if needed. Atlantic Furniture was great to work with, we were sent 2 upper bunks by mistake and they immediately shipped the proper lower bunk. They double and triple pack the pieces in heavy duty cardboard to insure that no damage occurs in shipping. For extra stability we covered slates with plywood, because the slates do have a lot of flex to them. That was the only part I was disappointed in however not enough to change my rating. Very attractive piece of furniture to sleep 5.

Beautiful Bunk Bed Set

High quality bunk beds and we love the full over full design. Unfortunately, both of the bottom headboards were damaged when we unpacked them. They had been in storage waiting for our cottage to be finished. Almost 8 months later when we unboxed them, we discovered the damage. Overstock took care of our complaint and shipped two new headboards. Love this company!!

Pretty good for the money

Despite lots of damage to the shipped boxes (comes in 7 boxes) no parts were damaged thanks to good packaging. bet assembled in a few hours mostly solo (you'll need help to get the upper bunk on to the lower). quality much better than expected. Very sharp looking and the little USB charging unit it comes with was a nice little surprise.downsides are that the ladder really interferes with the bottom mattress and bedding. going to be very annoying changing the sheets and the comforter will always look messy where the ladder is. other thing is the top bunk guard rails don't bolt into the sides and feel like they would easily break with a kid putting full weight against them. I went ahead and drilled a hole and screwed them into the beds head and foot board which made them very solid.overall would recommend this great affordable bunk bed!

Poor service by the Atlantic Furniture company. Bed seems decent and I will give an average rating on quality and instruction. One of the part was missing. I called Atlantic and left a voice mail. I also sent a message through Atlantic website about 3 weeks ago. I still haven't heard back from them. I used something else in place of the part as a substitute but got busy with work and haven't followed up. Does a voice mail and a text message through Atlantic website not enough? Do I need to followup? Shouldn't the part be not missing in the first place?

This is a well made bed. Some difficulty putting together bc so many boxes involved and not labeled which box has the instructions. You also couldn’t contact anyone at the manufacturers customer service bc Covid had shut it down. It turned out to be a full days project but the end result is amazing. Very happy with this purchase.

Atlantic Furniture should be proud of this bunkbed. It came perfectly packed. It is a well made piece of furniture which will serve my grandchildren for many years. Each bed is rated for 300 pounds so I can sleep in it as well. I wish they made more types of furniture.

I looked for a long time for a bunk bed with trundle. My kids broke 2 beds before this one so I needed a sturdy bed. We are so happy with this purchase. Its beautiful.So far its holding up ..lol.The only thing I dont like is the latter. Its hard to get down with the bottom slats to close together .

This bed is so nice! I just finished assembling it -super easy- by myself. You are going to need help with the top part if you are going to use it as a bunk. Also a very useful tip: the main instructions comes inside the bed panel box, so open that one first. Almost every box come with its own instructions. Love the fact that it brings extra hardware for almost everything in case something doesn't fit, breaks or whatever. I wished they mentioned in each boxes the order in which you should open them. The one thing I wished this bed had was extra drawers for storage, under the trundle. But other than that, is very sturdy and stylish. Boxes arrived in almost perfect condition, some holes on the boxes but the pieces were wrapped so nicely that everything was intact. NOTE: the Allen wrench is made out of cheap aluminum and it doesn't work well when you try to tighten the screws all the way. You're better off getting a better one that fits, otherwise the bed won't tighten enough and it can became wobbly too quickly. One thing I'd change is the ladder. The space in between each step are either too close (bottom portion) or too far apart that the kids have a hard time going up or down (ages 6 and 8). Other than that, I feel this bed will last us a long time!

HIgh Quality

This bunkbed had very easy to follow instructions. Simple to put together and made out of quality materials. It looks great and I would say it was perfect except for one thing. It smells really strong of chemicals. We have had it up for 3 days and the smell is still strong. I have been leaving the window open all day, but at night when the windows are closed, the smell just gets strong again. I am hoping it goes away. Other than that it is perfect!

Quality Difference is Worth the Cost

We needed efficient but *safe and sturdy* sleeping for 5 grandkids in a small bedroom in our vacation home. We purchased 2 sets, one with drawers and one with the trundle. We looked at plenty of other less costly options, but the smooth wood, solid construction and well-drilled holes were obviously at a higher level. There was not one missing screw or wood piece. It's hard to tell from photos, but the edges of all the trim pieces are slightly rounded and smooth, so when kids do bump into an edge, it's much less likely to harm them. There is good head space between the upper and lower beds, and despite the sturdiness, they are not overly massive - an important feature since we needed two sets. The ladder is compact and we chose it purposely so it doesn't impact the floor space. The straight vertical climb is not easy for some kids to do, but the configuration was worth that slight down side to us. Bunk beds can be a tricky purchase because safety is so important. I recommend these highly, although they do cost more than many other options. We purchased the natural finish and it's great.
