The packaging was great for such a fragile product. Of the 40 tiles, none were broke.

Excellent product and packaging!

Tiles had machine scars on painted surface full of dirt ,other tiles had dirt in the finish paint ,edge damage from shipping. Plant needs better Q/C,had to paint after installation. Will not buy again unless I can inspect each tile before purchase. All damage was out of sealed boxes that showed no exterior damage.

The quality of the Armstrong ceiling tiles are extremely poor. Ordered many boxes and more than half had to be returned due to the tiles coming in crushed or the facing was imperfection. The project is still ongoing. Very unhappy with the product and will not recommend.

Very Fragile

The 12x12 tiles are very fragile. It doesn’t take much to dent or scratch off an edge. Otherwise if we can get them installed they should be fine.

Easy to work with, and quick to arrive

Just what I needed to replace tiles from 70 year's ago.

My repairman had no trouble installing these tile over the damaged ceiling.

all ceilings in my house are covered with Armstrong ceiling tiles. i recently added more space to my kitchen but i had to order these tiles online. none of your home depots carry them anymore.didn't like that much but i got them shipped early so it all worked out in the end

Junk

We bought this to replace broken and missing tiles in a bedroom. The only thing good about them is that they did match what was already in the room. They are poor quality and many of them were damaged in the corners when we opened the box. We used 1/2 staples to attach them to the walls and they started falling down over night. The staples just came right through the material because it is so cheap. We tried using several drywall screws and are hoping this will work.

I ordered two (2) boxes of Item #85912 model #231G ceiling tile. i picked up one (1) and realized I was a box short. I returned to the store and was informed the other box was coming from a different location. They were to check on it and call me. Did not receive call. Went back to store to pick up other items and check on missing tile. Was told they could not find out the status from shipping and the person was at lunch. They would check and call me. To date, have not received the tile or received a call from anyone!!!

Great Product

I love this tile. I use firing boards and a stapler to install it rather than going the expense of the steel grid. Take your time and measure your room to find the center and work your way out from that. Be mindful of the direction of the tile before you make any cuts as it can be a bit confusing. This is a great product to cover old drywall or to just put up in the place of dry wall. I have and will recommend this to family and friends.

Absolute Garbage !!!

These tiles were a nightmare. 2 sides beveled, two sides rough cut. They deteriorate in your hands. Each tile must be cleaned of all loose material still attached. After appointing half the ceiling my entire house smelled like cat urine. I had to paint them to get rid of the awful smell. It took 2coats of primer and three coats of ceiling paint to cover the dark lines caused by the 2 sides without bevels. It took a week to complete a 350 sqft. Ceiling and cost me $1000 in labor and $150 in paint, not to mention the 3 tubs of adhesive and the tiles themselves. I'm all in for about $1700. I would NEVER use these again. What a waste of a week. In 2023 I can't believe what **** quality is still being peddled for actual materials. You should be ashamed !

Tiles are not made like they used to be. They are not very white, have marks on them and a bunch were damaged. I tried to return damaged ones but could not. Have to return whole case or nothing. They will have to do. I have to buy more cases of tiles then I need because of the quality.

The representative was everything a customer could have ever wanted to find out information and order a replacement part with a paid special delivery to expedite the shipment but the part went out with USPS and delayed the progress of my project since it’s my kitchen faucet and need to get water from the the bathroom to wash dishes, cooking, etc. I was promised the refund for the shipping, it’s the time we can’t get back. I still will continue to be a MOEN consumer because it is a quality product and your service is good. Thank you for your help.

Brittle like they had been damp

These tiles were so brittle they would crack even if I just held them too far toward the edge of the tile. They were extremely soft and would dent under the smallest amount of pressure. I made them work, but I would have returned them if I hadn't been under a time crunch to get my ceiling finished. Very dissapointed.
