Pump is smooth and quiet and comes with a 3 year warranty. The pump is pre-wired for 115 volts, but can be rewired for 220 volt. The mounting bracket is a little thinner than I would like and does not come with any kind of vibration prevention. I like have some kind of rubber between the surfaces. Probably will rewire to use 220 volt so that the running current is reduced from 10a to 5a.

At a maximum of a half horsepower and a pressure of50 PSI along with my water well at 35 feet, this CSW50 pump seemed to be a perfect replacement for my trusty old well pump that was sent to the great scrap yard in the sky having been zapped from a lightning bolt. As its passage is on a gradual decline of 125 yards, I was pretty sure that its half horsepower would be more than enough to suck the water up the 35 feet from the well and to be able to use gravity as assistance to reach the water tower. But would it be able to travel up vertically another 15 feet to the bladder? Having started up the pump using my gas generator, I watched as the water rushed into the 1000 gallon bladder. It took less than an hour for it to half fill it and it performed perfectly.

The Wayne upgrade we’ll pump is a beast. The 1/2 hp cast iron well pump will make any well water transfer a breeze. This pump is very heavy duty and weights at least 15 lbs. The comes pre lubricated so just handle the electricity on the side. Overall, great heavy duty wel pump with enough power to make sure you move water quick and fast no matter to location.

We have the comfort of having both water from the County Water Authority and a well. The pump we have is burnt out so it's a blessing to get this new one. We have an above ground wellhouse which makes installing it pretty painless. This unit is quite sturdy. The cast iron construction allows for decades of dependable service. The flow rate is substantial. I'm quite pleased that the pressure switch is included. It puts out a steady strong flow. No fluctuation at all. Surprisingly quite for the size of the pump. We are more than pleased.

As soon as I trench for the wire and build a well or pump house.It can safely pump up to 408 Gal. of fresh water per hour at 50 psi
