Fabulous But!....

Everything I purchase from Deluth I absolutely love, and the weather tech 10 inch feeding system seemed to be another 5 star winner. Until I saw it in action. By no fault of Deluth, I purchased this for my 49 lb. Bulldog. I immediately witnessed two issues that forced me to discontinue its use. 1) the height. Kona seems to either push her chest up against the feeder to eat, tipping the water over the back or, she'll have to get up on one leg and lean in to eat. 2) the food lost. It seems that at every feeding, her tongue is flipping the food oot of the back of the dish, causing her to chase after the lost food and wedging herself between the dish and the wall, again, tipping over the water part of the dish. Expensive lesson on my part, as I've stored it in the basement and gone back to her old feeding system. The lesson? Make sure your dog is tall enough for this 10 inch model or feeding time will become messy. I hope this helps.
