Slow shipping

I was expecting 2-3 days shipping as it said when I ordered it. Instead it took over a week. I needed it to keep a frozen pond open for the fish survival.

I bought 4 to replace 4 of another brand and have discovered that these will not keep even a 3.5 gallon bucket ice free when the temperature is below 20 degrees F. I assume those giving positive reviews do not live in places where it can consistently below 20.

K&H pond di-icer

This pond de-icer keeps my little pond ice free. It floats nicely and has a longer cord that comes out of the bottom of the unit whereas a previous one came out the side and made the unit dip exposing the element. The longer cord allows me to place the unit in the center of the pond and the cage around the element is a plus. My goldfish like it, too. I see them around it during really cold days like planes at a terminal. Great piece. I would recommend it.

Great Product and fast delivery

I had one for 15-18 years and this winter it developed a leak so it took on water. Replaced it with a new one and hope for another 15-18 years. It does a great job leaving an air hole in my pond for the goldfish. I also use a bubbler hanging down through the middle to add oxygen to the water. Chewy had an awesome price relative to other sites (almost $15 less) and free delivery.

Ordered this on Jan. 3rd

Ordered this on Jan. 3rd and received no confirmation email and no charge to my VISA. I believed that the order didn't go through. So, i ordered from amazon and received my aquascape deicer from them. Two weeks later, i received your product but, didn't open until the following week. Without my KNOWLEDGE, charged this item to my Mastercard (I'm guessing you got my credit card from my previous order?)

Product work great. Very cold winter and it gave me piece of mind.

It heated but it sunk

This heater sprang a leak, filled with water and sunk in the fishpond. It apparently still heated and didn't cause an electrical malfunction but didn't serve the purpose of keeping the pond surface free of ice. Chewy refunded the price 4 months after the purchase. Can't beat that for customer service!
