Perfect Kitchen light!

I was replacing a designer LED fixture with burnt out non-replaceable LED bulbs and a broken globe it dropped when the LED exploded. I found this on the ACE Hardware site and liked that I could direct it to the areas in our kitchen that needed the light most- the sink, microwave and food prep counter. Had this been a normal house with an electric box in the ceiling I guestimate the install time at about 15-30 minutes. Being a 70-year-old house there was nothing standard about the original install and the previous owner made things worse. However, the design of the lamp allowed me to make a couple of quick changes and mount the fixture securely. It's very clean looking with modern lines and adjustable focused lighting where we need it. Once I find the right lightbulbs this will be a perfect addition to our home. P.S. Ace had it on sale for about $14.00 after their website directed me to the store to check stock. Sweet!

I like to use these in the kitchens of my apartments. They have the ability to direct the lighting to where you need it. The only negative is these were previously and in stock item and now they are not an in stock item and now I have to order online and wait. Put these back in regular stock.

Nice light for the money

Very attractive light for the money. Manufacturer could have done a better job with the wiring as they joined all of the 3 wires from the lights right behind and right over the hole to hang the fixture. Also, the side of the box shows a gold ring outside of where you insert the bulb. The outer ring is black and not gold. But overall, I am happy with the fixture.

Simple adjustable lighting fixture

This was purchased for a customer of mine for her bedroom. Simple install: required mounting bracket (mounting screws were not included) attachment of electrical wires to the light fixture, and adjustment of the middle mounting screw to ensure flush mounting into ceiling. Overall nice product 4 starts for not having all hardware included for proper installation. Also bulbs are not included. Lights are adjustable to light up any part of your room.

I read all the reviews before i ordered these lights... i had already spent a lot of time looking for something that would match with my newly painted white ceiling. Other reviews said these lights were white... the photo on the box shows them being white... they are not. They are distinctly light grey and not a very pretty color. I wrote to the company to ask why this was the case... they basically said that’s the way the are. i ended up keeping them because i didn’t want to spend any more time on this project... but be aware... They are NOT white. As to the installation, my boyfriend did not have a had time with them. They were well in other respects and i like the you can adjust the direction of the lights.

However, even though the product description states it is white and it definitely is white, the photo shows a beige colored light base on Home Depot's website. It's misleading for those that may look at photos searching for a particular color.

This is a nice light fixture for any room. I am using it in my kitchen because I can adjust it to where I need the light. I had one for years and changed it out for a different one about a year ago and it just wasn't the same so I went back to this style. I do recommend this light.

Great color and design!

This looks like "first star" on the Sherwin Williams website. It looks great on our white plaster ceiling in the kitchen since there are usually light shadows on it giving it a grayish look. Love how the lights adjust direction.

I bought two of these for a new home construction. In less than a year, three of the 6 bulbs have burned out. I would not recommend this light for anything. I have always heard you get what you pay for, there is a reason this is cheap. This type bulb is a joke. Stick with regular light bulbs

Great for the price

First of all, this thing is grey not white. It doesn't bother me, but they should just be honest about it in their representation. It's very nice looking and I like that I can adjust where to point, but just realize it doesn't light up a large space. I have two in not a huge room and it's not as bright as I'd prefer. For the price and style though, can't be beat.

Really like this fixture. Only wish install directions had mentioned may need to adjust suspension tube for flush mount to the ceiling. As it came leaving a gap causing it to wiggle some. Required dismantling to adjust and reinstall. Not fun. However, other than that suits my needs just fine.

This light is located in my mud/laundry room (10x10) where there is no natural light available. So, using 3 daylight 65 watt bulbs it provides adequate lighting. Only rated it four stars as it was somewhat difficult for me to mount on a 10 foot ceiling and adjusting it to fit flush to the ceiling. The other thing is the installation of the bulbs which have to be turned (for the most part) by turning them on the face (front) of the light as there is no room to hold the bulbs by side as you would a normal light bulb.

Love these lights! Great price and just as good as more expensive units. I used Cree brand LED bulbs for it and the light is lovely in my small apartment kitchen now. So much better than one overhead light. I plan to replace more fixtures with these lights.
