Dishwasher is not as good as my last GE washer. It also has a delay button, which is also the start button. I have walked away thinking I've started the washing machine when in fact it has been delayed. Not liking that feature

Was ecstatic to see that Sears.com has come back and when I needed a Washer & Dryer, I decided to check it out. We absolutely LOVE the Kenmore W & D Set. Our last set lasted over 15 years. Thanks for coming back to us old-timers who appreciate the appliances without all the bells and whistles.

Would Not Recommend

I bought this washer online, so I did not have the opportunity to inspect prior to purchasing. The quality is just Ok. The START button might fall off soon. Lid locks while washing, so you can't really assure if the water level is ideal for the load, which sometimes it isn't. The biggest issue: the washer is really really noisy when rinsing spinning, very loud! I hope this was a good investment and doesn't break down soon. We had a Kenmore washer and dryer for many years previously, and it worked great, that's why we decided to go with Kenmore again. Fingers crossed!

This would be fantastic washer for anyone who wants to ruin all of their clothing. I've never had a washer tear clothes like this before.

Perfect size!

This was the perfect size for my small laundry room but also has a larger washing bowl than my old washing machine. The 3.8 size really allows two loads in one wash. Dependable.

WORST SERVICE EVER

Bought this online and while I was placing the order, started a chat with a Sears employee who offered to help complete the order. They started a new ticket and didn't carry over the details from the order I started. Unbeknownst to me, they left the install and haul away boxes unchecked. Imagine my surprise when the washer & dryer was delivered, and they refused to hook it up or haul away my old washer/dryer. Who does that to a person? They were rude and indifferent. Total lack of common decency. Is THIS how Sears treats it's customers? I've spent literally hours on the phone and online over the last few days trying to rectify this. And Sears says they won't do haul away now because the items were already delivered. What a joke. DO NOT give your business to Sears. They don't take care of their customers anymore. I wish I had shopped somewhere else.

Does not clean

I've had this washer for 6 months, it does not clean the clothes. The soiled clothes come out of the was he with a lot of stains, which I know would have come out with my old washer. I'm am truly disappointed in the machine, unfortunately I did not make a move on this earlier.

Worst encounter i do not recomend

Item was sold to me like it was new well when the item arrived it had a big dent on the top back where the screw was at n it was cracked then in the bottom where the drain hose goes was another bad dent n thats not all when we removed the cap from where the drain hose goes water just started pouring out what new washing machine has water in it I called right away n asked to return it n my refund back will get my refund minus the delivery with till it gets to the warehouse n then wait 7to9 business days smh this came from new jersey warehouse

Good washing machine

Good washing machine, works great. Good price as well, and is in the shape as described. Will purchase more from American Freight in the future.

Communication issues

Got the washer, but had to pay $50.00 more, because an email stating the original order could't be processed showed up 3 weeks later and advised to reorder item. Upon reordering price had gone up and email sent to customer service about this situation was never answered. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATIONS!!!!!

Washer never arrived

I purchased the washer online, and selected that washer because it was in-stock in the store. Went to the store the next day and learned it was not in stock but expected in a month later, and they would not apply our purchase to one of the other washers (more expensive) that were in stock. Heard nothing for a month and went to back to the store and they still didn’t have it. On the receipt there was no phone number. Online there is no phone number. In the store we weren’t given a phone number, just told that we had to wait. Then I got an email requesting a product survey, and gave a number to call if we hadn’t received our product. Called the number and they were going to look into it but didn’t have an answer. I called again the next day and cancelled the order and requested a refund. Every person was friendly but no one knew anything and no one offered any solution other than to wait. Really terrible organization

This is my favorite brand

This is my favorite brand for appliances and the washer performs as expected. I love it. The crew tat delivered it was expert and polite. Despite losing $ 800 when the other washer was just not performing like I needed it to and I asked the crew that delivered my Kenmore to take it away, which was my mistake, I will continue to to use this service Thank you. Kenmore washer

I have had this washer for 3 years along with the Kenmore dryer and they both work great and are going strong. Great simple set for the price.

Great machine for the price and good delivery and set up!!

This Machine works very well so far and I am quite happy with it. My last Kenmore finally gave up after 22 years, so I had to get another. Great Brand. This one operates a little differently than the last in the way that it uses water. It has an auto mode where you add your detergent and clothes and close the lid and push the button. It then starts adding water but only a little and then it stops momentarily while the machine senses the load and balance.(I think it might due this by weight scales). It adds more water and stops and senses again and then when it is happy it continues with the agitation process, rinse and spin etc.It make some unusual noises compared to my previous machine, but the manual says this is normal. It washes quite well and doesn't take long to do it. For the price it is a great machine. I ordered it with delivery, and the Sears guys showed up on time and had it installed in my basement in about 10 minutes. I would recommend this.

Online service was terrible, but washer works fine!

We didn’t receive any communication after we ordered a washer online and getting ahold of a representative was impossible. We tried to call the store it was being delivered to several times. Once someone answered and said they would look into it and call me back. I never heard back. All other times it would ring and then disconnect. I had to invest a large amount of time to find a number for online customer service and when I finally reached someone their solution was to email the store and get back to me. Of course they never responded. I finally just drove to the store. They were helpful at the store, but seemed as if they didn’t know any answers either. The washer ended up being at the store with my name on it. Had I not gone down there it would have been weeks before I was notified the washer was there. I received an email saying it was ready weeks after it was there. I would not recommend buying online, but the washer works fine so if you’re thinking of saving a few dollars just go directly to the store.
