Very cheaply made. It's tough when you pay for a product that is literally falling apart as you're trying to build it.

Not my favorite purchase. This file drawer was one of the worst purchases ever- Do Not purchase If you Do not purchase the item with the furniture builders. There were over 50 little pieces of screws and bolts and it was just a mess!!! Once the item was completely built, the shelf inside was too small to hold much on it! Wast of time and a Waste of your dime.

Nice furniture

This was a great item for our office. We use it for our printer/fax. It was in okay condition when it arrived. One dented corner and one scratch on the top. It is very functional for our office.

Nice unit for occasional use.

I like this storage unit. The position of the drawers on one side with different sizes is well thought out. The spacious adjustable shelving behind the door is very practical. The finish seems durable enough for occasional home use. Assembly instructions left me wanting more written description, though the diagrams with arrows were accurate enough.

cheaply made, drawer bottoms are flimsy and so is the back piece to the cabinet. One of the clips to hold the shelf is missing.

My Fourth 4th South Shore Furniture

In the past, I bought 2 sewing machine desks and an office desk. My new order arrived today office desk and Storage Unit with File Drawer than I'm planning to use as a handy printer stand. Yes, challenging to assemble and I may eventually enlist help from my grown children but I have always found the pieces to extremely well packed, high quality laminate finish. The company is very responsive if there's a component that is faulty or missing. They are great to deal with which is why I'm buying more.

Disrespectful quality

We bought this recently and it was delivered today. Honestly, the quality of the wood, paint and everything about this is far from a second-hand furniture. This is really disrespectful to customers! If we were not half through installation, we would have returned it. Thinking about putting it on market for free…

Looks great once put together. But had to drill a new hole as a couple didn't line up properly.

Great Versatile File Cabinet

Great file folder. Pretty easy to put together. Changed out the hardware to easily create a more refined and expensive look with gold hardware. Great working office file drawer.

Meuble classeur

Tres beau meuble. Facile a monter. Le seul hic ... il manquait des pieces (boulons) pour monter le meuble, pieces necessaires car c'etait pour soutenir la piece proncipale. Donc, perte de temps (3 jours) pour magasiner cette piece que... personne ne vendait. Nous avons du "penser autrement pour trouver quelque chose pour remplacer ces piecesmanquantes". Autrement tout etait correct.

It reeeeeeeks. The finished product looks nice and elegant, but it's easy to get some pieces to chip away during assembly, as others have stated. It also stinks. Like really really reeks of chemicals. Probably the smelliest manufactured wood product I've bought. I would put it in the garage for a week to off-gas but it's the middle of winter. Still, I have left the window opened to get the stench out.

Great Storage Unit.

Very nice storage unit for my computer area of my bedroom. There are 3 drawers, the bottom one for hanging folders. Great for storing printing paper, books and office supplies. We were short some hardware, but the company did send us replacements. Took two of us to put it together. The unit is sturdy and does support my 32" TV.

There is damage on the surface

Not worth the money

Mediocre quality and multiple pieces arrived damaged. One of the drawers didn't line up during assembly. For the money, it should be better quality than this. I do not recommend for these reasons and assembly was complicated. (Many parts)

This has been a fantastic option for my office. I use it for my printer with all supplies needed underneath. Ther is ample storage, a very universal piece!
