Do not buy this heater.

I gave the unit one star because of the look. Very nice looking. The unit does not work at all. It barely moves air and absolutely no heat comes out. I purchased the heater while building our new house. There were so many appliances coming in for deliver at the same time, making it impossible to inspect everything when it first arrived. I first plugged the unit in 3 weeks after it arrived, when I realized it was not working I checked your return policy. The policy stated it must be returned in its original packaging. Which I had thrown away. It also said the return must be approved before it is returned within 1 month. So now I am stuck with a brand new heater that has never worked. This company shipped a bad unit and their return policy is very unrealistic. I understand that a company can accidentally ship a bad product but I would never buy another product from them because of their horrible customer service policies. There is no customer service.

This is my 2nd purchase of this product. I may buy a 3rd.

I use the heater in a small workshop. Love the quiet operation.

Heater is wonderful,perfect,does exactly what it is supposed to do. It came fully equipped, just plug in, has handle to carry and feet. I recommend highly. ET

I put this in a small spare room that we hardly ever use. When I turned it on initially it did have a strong odor but that dissipated in about an hour. After that because it didn’t get very hot I thought it was not going to heat the room but it warmed the 200sqft room quickly. I’m very satisfied

Bought this for garage since son sleeps in there! My house is full of kids and grandkids so only place with any privacy left! To make it up to him I wanted him to be cozy and warm on these cold nights. He loves it! Worth the price x 10!

Misled on condition and safe operation.

Bought this product with slight damage and read that it was in working order, it was not. It's soo damaged it is very unsafe to use. It's a potential fire hazard.

Poor assembly

It's hard to believe that something that has so few parts could have two assembly errors! The themostat cover and one of the legs was assembled crooked. There was a slot formed in the leg for the metal edge of the heater. It was installed with the metal outside of the slot, causing it to be crooked. Had to take it apart and re-assemble cover and leg correctly. THESE ERRORS WERE VERY PLAIN TO SEE, BUT IT WAS PACKAGED UP AND SENT OUT ANYWAY! Either they did'nt care or weren't allowed the time to correct it. The heater smoked pretty bad for a few minutes when it first heated up. The unit could have been run a few minutes to burn off manufacturing oils at the factory, but I suppose that would take too much time. Since we are out of the heating season, I will have to wait till next winter to see how well this heater works. Not too happy with it so far.

Used product to provide supplements heat in three seasons room. Low heat output compared with previous heaters with same wattage. Disappointed!

It has been only a week since we bought it...

It has been only a week since we bought it so did not get a chance to fully review the product. we have it under the window. We keep it on at nights when the temp really drops. i am hoping this will reduce the load on the central heater.so far, product is working as expected. Ordering on HomeDepot.com was super easy. Chose store pickup which was quite efficient as well.

This product could have possihly been efficient if I had needed it for a room in the size of a closet. I would not recommend it for an open room, like a living room or family room; it will not heat! I would need to purchase 3-4 in order to have some warmth. We have a little heater about the size of a football which heats and blows the heated air, this works better!

I am very happy with the quality!

We use this heater in a sunroom and it heats quietly and efficiently. Have tried portable heaters before but this one was worth the extra money as it heats the area quickly. It is built solid and is safer then the cheaper ones we used.

My below windows baseboard heater.

When the specs said it was 4' long, they were right! However, I didn't factor in my existing curtains were 4' wide too, so I thought I may have to send it back. But I noticed that the heat outlet was about 3" shorter on each side, so I put it between the curtains, turned it on (which took longer to warm up than I thought) and felt where the heat was coming out. Fortunately (for me), the heat source was even shorter than the 42" heat outlet, bringing the total heat area to 36", which made the unit safe for my application.

I got this heater for my father who's an elderly gentleman and it's great for him it warms up his room very very nice I highly recommend it my only regret is for myself I wish the controls were a little more complicated it's very simple plus or minus for heat that's about it and it just doesn't have an on-off switch are those otherwise and that I highly recommend it.

Ok for its purpose.

Its ok. Not very hot. On its highest setting it keeps a small bathroom warm. I like the size and the safety off switch.
