Tiny screws were difficult to find their hole and turn...

Tiny screws were difficult to find their hole and turn tight enough to be flat for the plate to cover. The plate was hard to get apart for a adjustment in alignment of the outlet or switch, so best to get it right before using those little screws. Later, I had trouble getting one apart to add a switch in place of a temporary blank. I find that those items including switches and plates made in China and tout break less, broke easily and had to buy usa plates instead.

We are using these scoreless cover plates for our outlets and modular jacks (cable, cat 6 connectors, and HDMI cords) for a walk mounted TV. We have a four gang electrical box down low for a cable received box, and one up high for the TV. They make these rectangular inserts that work great for the cables listed above. The scoreless cover plates work perfectly to cover the outlets, and are easy to install. The under plate has eight screws that you attach to the receptacles (very easy), then you just snap on the outside cover. Looks really good, easy to install, and no visible screws!

This is a novelty item that is purely decorative. If you want a distinctive look about your house, and don't mind taking the time to unscrew all of your cover plates (flat head screwdriver) around your house; and then installing these, the unseen plate uses Phillips head screws, and then you snap on the cover plates. In my opinion you either go all in and do your entire house or don't do it at all. The outside plates unsnap easily if you need to replace an underlying switch.

We love these screwless switch covers and wall plates. They look way better than the switch covers with the screws showing. The build and material also make them look nice and neat. The installation was easy and straightforward. The white color makes them versatile and go well with almost any wall color. We switched our our existing 4-gang wall plate and have been very happy with it so far.

I ordered these in multiple gang configurations, as I have a lot of switches and outlets I need wall-plates for. I don't even bother with the standard switches and outlets that use the exposed screw wall-plates - everything I use now is the decora style. Everyone seems to like the upgrade, and while they might cost a bit more you might as well get something you are happy with. These are very nice poly carbonate wall-plates and they attach just like the name brand screw-less wall-plates do. There is a base which attaches to the outlet or switch with two small screws and then the finished cover snaps on to the base. Installation is literally a snap. Most people would not be able to tell these apart from the name brand screw-less wall plates. The corners on these wall-plates are just slightly more rounded than the other brands - something I picked up on right away. I do prefer the more rounded corners - although it is extremely subtle - my wife could not tell the difference even looking at the two wall-plates side by side. These are nice wall-plates, they compare favorably to the competition in terms of style, and function. So at the end of the day, it probably boils down to a matter of price.
