Exceptional quality on these Delta shelves!

This shelving kit impressed me with the quality of the materials. The white brackets are extremely sturdy and the slotted uprights slide into the outer bracket for extra strength to allow weight of 80 pounds per shelf (especially if attached directly to wall studs). I like that I have the option of mounting 2 separate 2-shelf units or using the included connector piece to mount as one vertical 4-shelf unit. The shelves can be placed in any position desired and the empty slots are hidden when the cosmetic cover is fitted and attached. The oak finish on these shelves is perfectly done and looks as natural as real oak wood.

Looks great

Easy to put on wall with good instructions and screws that come with it to attach the shelf holder on wall. The quality is very nice and and the color combo of the white shelf holders and the color beige color of the shelfs go very well together. I put it in my laundry room and it works great to put my detergent on the shelfs. Strong enough to hold them. A nice good looking shelfing unit.

Sturdy and good looking

I knew I needed shelves in my laundry room but I wasn’t exactly sure what type until I saw this shelf kit by Delta. I never knew they made shelves. Installation includes installing the two arms, adding the brackets, then attaching the brackets to the shelves. The shelves appear to be some type of MDF with a wood grain laminate surface. The installation screws are very long and thankfully I was able to find studs for all four arms. If you don’t have studs, large wall anchors are included. I am installing these shelves side by side, although I really wanted them as a four row vertical unit. After you complete installation the kit includes a cosmetic cover for the arms and logo end caps for the brackets. I would prefer metal end caps instead of plastic, however. My only gripe is you have to attach the shelves to the brackets with tiny screws and you have to be able to look through a slot to find the hole. I think the holes should come pre drilled in the shelves. I installed four screws instead of all eight into the shelves but the until is still pretty sturdy. What I do love about the shelves is that you can remove them while attached to the brackets and change the height. I will eventually take them off by lifting them out of the slots and install the remaining screws into the shelves. Even though the installation of the shelves is a little weird, this is a great shelf kit and with its neutral colors will look great in most decor. I even found a matching floor shelf unit! You can even paint the metal parts if you prefer. Sturdy and durable. Also includes a QR code for the the installation video as well as an instruction booklet.
