Has a wood grain not visible in photos. Looks like real wood painted white. Very sturdy.

Came together very nicely, strong and sturdy. Loaded them up helping me organize. It came with wrong color bolt hiding covers, the industrial look is fine with me, just puzzling? Also not sure what the red string was for? Many uses, I chose kitchen and liquor rack.

Looks great except for screw hole covers.

The bookcase is sturdy and suits my purposes well. I have a little trouble understanding how to configure the wooden dowels. My main complaint is that the patches to cover the screw holes match the shelves, not the sides.

Shelf for my coffe table books

Color was great match, no problem with assembly and is very sturdy. Just what I was looking for to enhance my living room with no TV. This is a free zone for no technology. Livingroom is for visiting and reading. Love this piece.

Never will but this again

This is so hard to put together. The instructions is no help at all. I never open things up when I first get them because I work all the time so it was about 1 1/2 when I did (don't judge me). But when I did I immediately regretted it. So where is it still in pieces in my laundry room. I figured it was to late to send it back.

I would buy this product again

I use it as a bookcase for my favorite books. It is the right height and fills the space I put it in perfectly.

The instructions were not explicit enough. Didn't make any sense, and were not helpful. Too many pieces. The illustrations were not clear, and I wound up putting it together incorrectly. I am now attempting to fix, but not sure how. Very disappointed.

Wonderful shelf

I’ve got the shelf in my office. It looks so good and I get so many compliments on it. It looks like a very expensive piece of furniture and it was such a great price on overstock.
