The air conditioner works very well and quickly cools the room for which we bought it.

Broken inside

I paid almost $400 for this... I got it a couple of days before I was able to set it up and the website says I only have 48 hours to return. When you turn it on, it sounds like the fan inside is broken and flapping around in there. It also randomly shuts off and back on again. Would not recommend buying this product

Great for the bed room

I bought this for my middle aged wife who suffers from always being hot and uncomfortable when she sleeps. She loves it and uses it daily. It cools our bedroom nice and icy. Works perfectly for what we need it for.

Not standing behind product they sell!

Before 2 months this unit started to make intermittent racket and only got worse from there. Walmart will not issue me a return or even a replacement. The noise gets worse when switched to different types of functions

used for a half hour worked great

i havent used yet but did make sure it worked and for the half hour it did cool a bigger room than it made for cooler so hopefully next season when i do uses full time it will be great.

Overall satisfied with the performance of the unit. At times it can be louder than described.

First Impression: It Works Brilliantly!

This GE portable A/C was just set up about an hour ago in a room with about 190 square feet. It feels like a dream so far. It cools the entire room evenly and comfortably. Now we just need to find out if this product has longevity. First Impression: Two Thumbs Up!

I expected it to work a bit better than it does but it’s still great value for the money—it could certainly use a “Clean filter” indicator light or something, that would be nice as my other units do that and I never remember else wise.

Leaks water

Product leak water on my carpet and now my room smells

I have this product almost 3 years and used it about 2 years only during summer period, so basicly about 7-8 months in total. And it was working just fine. But recently the first time it showed water tank full, so I have drained it, not much waater came out but it started working again. However the following night I heard some water licking noise and when I have checked I saw that water is coing out from the bottom if AC somwehere from inside of an AC, when tried to lift it to check what is going on a lot of water starting coming out, so I had to put a larg container beneath it and let all water to come out, very larg amount of water came out without opening any plugs. So on the morning I called to a customer support and the guy told me that it is something that they are not able to take care of, THE PRODUCER OF A PRODUCT CAN’T SERVICE IT FOR A LEAKAGE!!! this is crazy. I didn’t find anyone who can fix it, so I have to buy a new one, only 7-8 months working life and not working all day plus not 7-8 months not straight working ours. Other than that, AC was working great would cool down room pretty fast

GE 6,100 BTU portable AC

This was priced at an amazing price and was just what I needed to replace my 4 year old Pelonis 5,000 BTU portable AC unit. I've only had it a week or so, but it has worked beautifully in that time. It has kept us comfortable, and we've finally been able to get some much needed sleep. I also want to mention how quiet this ac unit is. Our old Pelonis unit was loud and made watching tv impossible, whereas this unit is like a quiet hum.
