We have 4 cans in our kitchen and 1300 lumens per can is just right. Works great for the kitchen (except at night, haha). For living rooms and other locations I would recommend a bulb with less lumens

GARAGE PORCH LIGHTS

Mounted 6 of these in cans on my garage porch ceiling. Wired together and to a digital dimmer and we love them. We can have them on full bright or dimmed all the way down to almost nothing. Easy to wire and mount, Great price too.

Sun on my ceiling

These are like turning on the sun. Defiantly need to have a dimmer on these. I have 4 in my kitchen. Put all 4 in without a dimmer. Did not turn them on again until it was installed. Now that we are used to them they are amazing.
