[Rewarded Review] Look elsewhere for storage solution

I gave this shelving unit a single star only because of the company's customer service. They replaced a damaged board quickly. For the item itself, it is very cheaply made particle board that following directions, you will still split the boards. The dowel rods for the top and bottom were way too thick for the pre-drilled holes as well. I would avoid this brand if that is the quality of furniture that they will provide. But as I said when I started, the customer service is top notch.

Not Worth It

I’m sure this shelving unit would have been nice if it had been manufactured correctly. The super convenient pre-drilled holes were completely nonexistent on some of the pieces near the end of the build. So, I had put the core shelves together, and then I come across the side panels only to find that there is no way to install them. I don’t know how that detail was missed, but of course I ended up finding & buying the one set that wasn’t made right. Had to take it all apart and repackage it for a store return. Target is great and makes the return process very hassle-free, it was just annoying going through the whole searching/buying/building/taking-apart/returning process! Ultimately, I found a larger, sturdier cube shelving unit on Walmart’s website that was $70 less and looks a lot nicer.

This bookshelf looked good on pictures. The quality was okay but a bit flimsy. Had some minor trouble putting it together.

Love this bookshelf! I use it for my TBR books and it is decorative and convenient as well as versatile!

Great shelves for a kids playroom

Easy to put together. good quality overall for the money except the flimsy cardboard back that barely fits on the back and essentially stabilizes the whole shelving system.

Cube Organizer

Easy to assemble. It’s a one person build. Delivery was several days longer than expected but arrived in good condition. We’ll be buying a second one soon.

I have always like Sauder products but this one came...

I have always like Sauder products but this one came in below the normal that I expected from them. It looks great and was easy to assemble but the quality of the material it is made from was less than desirable. One of the dowels actually punctured through the top piece and while attaching the back I found that it is not wide enough. Several nails chipped the surface of the inside walls of the cubicles.

This is such a nice little storage unit!

The unit holds so much but doesn't take up much space and was easy to assemble!

Basic cube on stilts.

This cube is fine for small books and odd objects. I got a little turned around when I attached the metal stand and had to start new holes, because I was confused by the instruction drawing at that step. Generally, the instructions were clear, but you have to be careful to examine all aspects of the drawing, as there are important notes in corners. The covers for the screw holes are tacky.
