Beautiful, sturdy cabinet.

no instructions!

I don't know how they expect me to review this item when I cannot put it together since it did not come with any instructions!

DO NOT BUY

Do not buy unless you want a lopsided piece of furniture. Worst quality. Not even worth $20 but of course there no getting it back in the box to return.

Avoid this product

AVOID THIS PRODUCT, First everything wasn’t labeled. The directions were difficult to follow. My husband and I spent 4 hours putting it together. While following the instructions we heard a loud crack…yes the top half cracked. Not very sturdy and if not so hard I would have returned it. If you buy, make sure you have at least 2 people (3 would be better). This will only be in my home until I can find a bookcase that is a quality product. This was a mistake on my part.

Beautiful and fairly easy to assemble.This cabinet is just what I ordered.I hold and has room for a lot of items to be displayed. It looks so beautiful!!!

Bookcase with some minor fixes

The bookcase was well packaged and arrived in two boxes. Nothing arrived damaged. There were a couple of tiny chips but that seemed to be from the manufacturer. There were fingerprints on a couple of the boards which would not come off. However, the boards ended up facing the interior top edge so the prints cannot be seen. My husband (who is well versed in assembling furniture) became frustrated with the instructions for the side panels and we had to remove and reinstall the screws and wood dowels three times as we attempted to ensure they were both on the correct side. It was also difficult to figure which screw to use for the back panel and the door hinges. The doors have a 1/2-inch gap even after adjusting them so they would close without rubbing the shelves or the sides. The bottom drawer is not the same depth as the bookcase and it does not have a stopper so it rolls all the way to the back panel a leaving 3" gap in the front. My husband placed screws at the end of each track. That was the exact location to make the drawer flush with the front of the bookcase. It took about 3 - 4 hours to complete assembling the bookcase. It is a pretty bookcase especially the feet but I missed in the item images that the outside side panels are not flush on all sides. They are sunken in. That space could have been used for more books. I am getting used to it and it is a bit aesthetically pleasing. I will have to modify the doors and add a backing to one of the door panels to cover the gap. Overall, I do like it as it holds all my books but it seems a tad overpriced.
