Bright Light for Winter Blues

Using as a winter therapy light - yes there are commercially available therapy lights available, this is being considered as a possible diy solution. It comes close to or meets most of the requirements for therapy lights. The 5000 K setting meets what research showed to be the lowest of the desirable range (5000 - 6000 K). The light output is stated as 3,300 lumens, this is presumably over 1 square meter. It seems reasonable that you could get close enough to the light for 10,000 lux - approximately 1/3 square meter. Or use it in a space with bright, reflective walls or other surfaces. It will really light up your day! So far so good! And having the other two light color/temperature settings allows the light to be warm when wanted.
