The lights and driver assembly are good quality and work well. Bought these because I needed 4 new lights (not replacing existing fixtures) and liked the idea of using low voltage (LV) wiring to feed each fixture instead of running Romex to all 4 lights. Installation was straight-forward: wiring the driver unit into the house is the most complicated step, but is not much different than replacing an existing fixture, the low voltage side is easy and if you've ever installed low-voltage landscape lighting, the wiring of each fixture is similar. I did have to re-make one of the LV connections, as the plug didn't make contact the first time around and that light wouldn't come on until I reworked the connection. One drawback to this kit is that in order to dim the lighting, it requires a dimming switch specifically for use with low-voltage systems, which costs significantly more than standard dimmers for LED lights. So, if you plan on dimming this system (or even THINK that you might want to in the future), expect to spend eighty bucks more on a dimmer - OR - choose to buy 4 individually hard-wired fixtures and field-wire them together with Romex so you can use cheaper dimmer switches. This fact annoyed me and I think buyers need to be aware of it, but the product is still worth 5 stars.

Excellent system. Easy to install. 35’ feed off transformer made installation & running of cables as easy as doing landscape lighting. Slide the low voltage wire into the quick connect piercing connection and without stripping any wire you are done. Removed fluorescent fixture and cut in and installed (4) lights in under an hour.

Installed these lights less than a year ago. Very bright, and the quick connect is a really neat feature that helps simplify installation. I purchased the 6 pack plus 2 additional for 8 total in my kitchen. In the 10 months they have been up, I’ve already had to replace 2. I understand LEDs still need replacement, but 2 in 10 months at $20 per replacement? Not impressed. Figure I’ll leave a new review each time one burns out with 1 less star. The idea is there, but further testing is required.

Love these lights. Easy to install. Economical and eco friendly. 3 to 5 different light settings from soft mood lighting to simulated sunlight.

Purchased a 6 pack of these, plus 2 additional for 8 total. Super simple installation, plus they are very bright. These would have gotten 5 stars but one of them stopped working after 6 months, and for $25 I was hoping for a much longer lifespan. Hoping the rest last much longer.

Devolved into blinking nightmare

Installed easily but started randomly blinking off more and more after about 10 weeks. Possibly a heat related issue as they seem OK for first 20-30 minutes of use, but then start blinking out more and more as they are left on. The entire chain of 4 lights blinks out and I swapped out the light switch, so it must be the control unit. I would have been better off with 4 independent units for about the same cost.

This was my second set of halo quick link lights. The first set works great, but this set didn't work. I found a comparable light from a different company and bought them. So I'm giving this product 3/5 stars.

These did not work. I have used Halo Quicklink in the past which installed easily and have worked fine, but this set did not work after installation. They were returned to Home Depot for a refund.

Halo’s Canless Integrated LED Kit is soooo easy! Connecting the base to one existing light and using a drill with a 6” hole bit made install a snap. I made sure to run the lights in the direction that I may want to add more. This kit can handle 4 additional lights for a total of 8 lights. Plenty to light any room.

This was the first time I've installed a new light fixture, and this kit really made the process far simpler that I was anticipating. The hardest part was making sure I had turned off the correct breaker.

These lamps are super fast and easy to install, they are suitable for humid spaces, the intensity of the light can be adjusted, very practical, it does not take up almost any space and they look very elegant and discreet.
