Delivery problems.

I never received the product. The carrier tried on two or more occassions to deliver the product but I was not at home. I tried to track delivery but did not find any useful info. On the site.By comparison I was able to pick up a delivery from a different carrier when delivery failed.

Buy these every year

Use these every year when purging old records out for storage. Very sturdy and do the job.

Came without the removable rails for hanging files, making it useless for its intended purpose

Buyer beware. Item description indicates 6 boxes. Price is only for one. Office Depot blames Walmart for wrong picture and description.

Not a filing cabinet substitute

The idea that when you have multiple stacked boxes, if you need a document, you don't have to unstack everything is great. However it's still limited as a drawer - the documents inside the box of course get very heavy, and make opening the drawer very difficult. Great for storage and accessibility but don't expect to use this as a proper filing cabinet substitute.

perfect for long term storage

The capacity is the same as a standard file drawer so it makes moving files to storage much easier. Within the company we fill approximately 40 boxes every year and over the years they are still in great shape.

GREATEST BOXES

We love these boxes for storage. The metal inserts allow us to stack the boxes without fear of them caving in.

Nice quality but

It is my fault as I should have paid more attention to the size (the depth) more closely. The image makes it look like it is the smaller (shorter) ones. That's not a problem if you need that much drawer space but by the time it is full of files, the plastic handle pulls out from the front and that is a real problem. So, please just keep that in mind when making your decision. Thanks!

Storage boxes not as strong as they used to be but still good

using the bankers box stordrawer boxes for old files. Replacing old storage boxes. These are good, but not as strong as the old ones were. That being said, the price is reasonable for what you're getting. And, in the end, they do the job they were intended for.

Gets the job for storage of files. Heavy enough to pack the box full and not fall apart.

Easy to put together

The Bankers Box Extra-Strength Stor/Drawer Steel Plus Storage Drawer by Bankers Box is our storage box of choice. They are easy to build and stack. I wouldn't recommend stacking them more than 4 high though as they start to crush and tilt. I have purchased hundreds of these over the years.

They look great in my storage unit.

I use for personal and business use in my storage unit. Saves so much space and is neat and tidy. The boxes are also double the size lengthwise of a regular box which allows more room to store. However, the clips needed to stablize the boxes together are not included. Although they are free, you have to find the phone number to the manufacturer (Fellowes) and call to order. It takes 7-10 days to receive; Staples sends boxes within 1-2 days. Also, they just send the clips without instructions and it is not self-explanatory on how to use so you have to call again. Too time-consuming!

Storage only, not good for file cabinet

I bought these to use as file drawers inside an exsisting wooden cabinet, however they didn't fit because the measurments I went by ended up being interior, not exterior measurments. I also didn't like the fact that when the box was only half full the box would tilt down when opened. These would be best for storage only, not good a file cabinet.
