Nice looking cabinet.

This is a nice large cabinet with nice granite. The directions were exact and as others suggested, lay the pieces out in order and follow the picture instructions. The drawers were a little time consuming but over all it went smooth. Took over two hours. The packaging is well marked and wrapped tightly. Very happy with the wood quality, better than you get in a box store. Only thing I didn’t like was the color didn’t match the picture that I ordered. The color appears like honey oak but looks more like light oak. Would recommend this to others.

Just as pictured

Assembly took maybe 3 hours but I wasn’t rushing through it. Instructions were good. Nothing was missing. Comes in two heavy boxes. Granite top was well protected in its own ‘crate’. No damage. Arrived by UPS in 2 days. Ordered on Sunday, was here Wednesday. Knobs and handles were as pictured here, not different as mentioned by manufacturer. My only issue is in removing all of the little circle stickers with part number/letter. What a very sticky sticker. Still have some to get off inside drawers. No issues with wheels, very sturdy, actual wood on most pieces, beautiful grain/color/finish, does NOT tip over, granite top in perfect condition, my kitchenaid mixer and crockpot fit in cabinet. Drawers are not super deep but not a deal breaker. I did a lot of research and comparative shopping. Felt buying from Lowe’s was best option and price. If i hated it, i could stick it in the car and bring it back to the store snd not deal with returning by carrier. But I didn’t hate it, i loved it, we both love it.

Awesome product!

I have had this kitchen island for 10 days and absolutely love it. It does take some time to assemble, so allow 2-3 hours for assembly. I have read other reviews where it took them 2 hours. It took me 3 hours. I am a 66 year old female with tendonitis in both thumbs but still found the assembly easy and the instructions were very user friendly. The granite top is heavy, so I would recommend help to seat it on top of the island. There is plenty of room in the cabinets for storage. I have been able to clear out some of the clutter in my cupboards and now everything is actually organized. It's very helpful when I cook and also use it for food preparation. The spice rack makes it easy to grab the spices i use the most without ever leaving the stove. It's very easy to clean and just looks lovely in the kitchen. It's a pretty addition to my kitchen and extremely functional for my needs. It is well worth the price. I'm so glad i purchased this.

Great purchase for me. I thought it was a little pricey, but it's real wood. Assembled easily. If you have any experience assembling furniture from directions, this will be simple. 52 year old 5 feet tall. The only thing I couldn't do alone was lift the countertop.

Well made.

It’s beautiful, sturdy, and stuffed full of all my extra stuff that doesn’t fit in my limited cupboard space. I’ve had it for at least 5 years and it’s in excellent condition even though it’s used every day. Very pretty piece of furniture. My daughters helped me assemble it and with teamwork it took a little more then an hour. I would recommend this island.

Very solid construction. Very easy assembly. My dog was constantly treating up the garbage can do I purchased this to keep him out. Use 1 side for garbage, the other for storage. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent buy! However the only problem I have is that you can only really take out the paper towel holder from one end. Therefore, if you have it propped up on one side of the kitchen, like I do, then you would have to move the island over to put the paper towel in. But overall, it's excellent!

Packaging was top notch. I was really surprised at the weight of the granite top. assembly was sold. did it with my 10yr old son. you will need assistance with the top install but everything else can be done by one person. we have natural wood top counters so we like this finish and the granite top add a raw meat surface.

Cart was packaged well and easy to assemble with understandable instructions. Took two people 2 hours from start to finish. It is a useful addition to my kitchen besides being an attractive piece of furniture. Very satisfied customer!

This cart was exactly what I wanted. It was in perfect condition on arrival, well made and all the parts were there. It took a handy friend about an hour to put together. The wood top is beautifully grained with a nice color stain. So beautiful in fact that I decided to get a glass top to protect it and yet still be able to see the wood through it. It has a lot of storage and I am enjoying having that too. All-in-all very happy with this purchase.

A nice looking, solid piece of kitchen furniture, only downside, it is not white, even though that is the color that I ordered. The locks on the wheels are easy to engage and disengage when you move the cart and it has ample storage. Very happy that I bought this one.

I absolutely love this island! It is one of the sturdiest pieces of furniture I’ve seen in quite a while. I also bought a microwave cart to match. I had bought one from a different store and returned it because it was so flimsy. This one is solid and stylish!

Sturdy and attractive

It took 3+ hours to put this together, but most pieces fit fine. The drawers required a bit of muscle and a couple of re-drilled holes, but all in all assembly was straightforward if not exhausting. The cherry top is quite lovely. It has been "pre-distressed" but in a tasteful way and wipes clean easily. The entire thing feels very sturdy and we are comfortable putting our heavy Kitchenaid mixer in one of the cupboards. The drawers are small, so standard silverware trays don't fit.

Nice cart especially for the price

Easy to assemble if u go slow and pay CLOSE attention to the picture. Be sure to note where the screw holes are in the pics. I only made one mistake. It took me 2.5 hrs to assemble myself with a manual screwdriver. Not bad. It is very good quality. Worth the effort, for sure.

Not for the novice.

The finished product looks very nice. Putting it together was interesting. One of the interior drawer panel would not fit. One side popped right in, the second side the dowel holes were of about the distance of a dowel. We ended up cutting off the dowels. Just hoping the cart doesn't fall apart as it's moved around. The instructions all said to put top on first then mount the door, again one door went on fine. The second one, we had to undo all the screws around it so we could fit the pin in. I do have to say the quality of the wheels was better than expected.

Disappointed in the color

I bought the cart to go in my newly remodeled "white" kitchen. The cart seems sturdy and I think it will work but I'm so disappointed with the color. It is clearly cream, not white. There is a huge difference in the color and now I'm left to wonder whether we should send it back, after my husband spent two hours putting it together, or if I should try to spray paint it. Right now, I can't see past my disappointment to make a decision.

Perfect!

This kitchen island matches my cabinets beautifully. I love the extra storage. I couldn't be more pleased. With wheel castors that lock, it's easy to move when cleaning. For the price, remember this is real wood. It requires assembly, but because I purchased it through Walmart.com, my local Walmart assembled it for me free of charge. Can't beat that.

I feel like I am on a cooking show when I use my cart. It is a two fold item. It serves as my kitchen island and food prep station. Only thing it came unassembled and I figured it out, it looks great. I ran into a problem when putting the top board on, the nails where not long enough to screw from the bottom up. I had to get some longer ones from home depot. We rolling now in my brand new kitchen.

real wood?

After spending 3 hours putting this together, I ran over an electrical cord rolling it into place. One of the casters, and about 6 inches of the "wood" that it was attached to broke off and now it sits with a block under 1 corner. The material that was exposed was much closer to cardboard than wood. It looks nice, and will work for what I needed, but not a brand I will order again.
