Nice addition to the kitchen

It works well with our kitchen. We wanted a little more countertop area and it blends well with the rest of the kitchen.

I love love love it, perfect in my kitchen. Sorry, I do not have a pic. Plenty of storage as well.

I wanted a kitchen island that did not look cheap.

I love our new island and would have given it 4 stars but it is a lot of assembly with this one! Be prepared to spend time putting this together but it is worth it once you do.

It was easy to put together; only thing I would tell anyone ordering is that theirs is shipped in three boxes. So don’t panic if you only got one box. That said, some of my boxes never arrived but HD did an amazing job at taking care of me. Side note, you will need two people to place that granite slab on there it is heavyyyy.

Love it when it was finished but so many parts to put together. Be prepared to spend . 4 hours or more to get it together. Boxes are real heavy. This is a 2 person job.

Aside from the instructions not being very clear, it went together nicely and looks great. The countertop is very heavy and polished. The drawers roll in and out smoothly. Nothing felt cheap while assembling. Would highly recommend.

I love my new kitchen island cabinet. It’s large enough to organize and store so many kitchen items. The granite top is beautiful and easy to clean.

We’re using this as a coffee station in our kitchen and it’s wonderful for that purpose. I love how I could also use it as an island or for extra space during our busy kitchen holidays. The boxes were damaged and some of the pieces were damaged but thankfully They didn’t show once put together. We’re liking this piece a lot

This cabinet/island was just what we needed for extra storage. The paper towel holder and spice rack provide extra benefits. The piece is quite handsome and goes well with the Cambridge Bar Cabinet we bought first. Also, the black color and granite top is really neutral and go with our existing hickory cabinets and granite.

Cambridge Kitchen Island

Very nice island. Easy to put together, very well made. It is a nice quality piece at a good price. It came packaged very well. I had a "oops" moment with the doors. I put one in upside down. They go in and easily but are there to stay when put in place. It will be an easy fix though, need to move the metal plate from bottom to the top for the magnet.

PERFECT! Just not WIDE enough.

Make sure to measure carefully because all the islands are narrow. It is a perfect length but i can't even roll out a pie crust with only 18 inches wide. I'm actually considering a 2nd one to attach to the current.

Solid Construction, great finish, Reasonable Price

Very happy with all aspects on the furniture once I assembled it. However, the assembly instructions were not really clear and it took about 3-4 hours for assembly. Otherwise, beautiful piece of furniture including the granite top.

Fabulous Island!

I was so excited to find a great price on this particular island. My husband put it together and said that, although there were SEVERAL pieces, the instructions were straight forward and it was not difficult. We have white kitchen cabinets with black appliances and I am so glad I went with the black island. The granite top is black, also. The granite top island is a little more pricey than the stainless steel or wood, but granite is what I was looking for. Several websites carry this particular island model, but I found the best deal on Hayneedle during black Friday/Cyber Monday week. I had an extra 15% off with free shipping and it brought the price under the competitors. Thank you, Hayneedle, for shipping it out so quickly! You will not go wrong with this kitchen island! Well made piece of furniture

This island is very well made and granite is a nice piece of granite. We were very pleased with the quality of this item. Assembly however is not the simplest thing. My husband is excellent at putting items together but if he was not this would have been an issue.

Good buy...

This kitchen island did not disappoint overall. The negatives were that it was a little difficult to assemble due to the fact that the holes were not aligned right by the manufacture. This made the island a little unsturdy. The positives were that it looks exactly like the picture, the granite is great quality, the storage is adequate. I'd buy it again if I needed another island.

Beautiful Island

This island is as beautiful as it looks. There are a ton of pieces to put together, but it looks awesome when you are done. I wasn't in a hurry and it took me about 3hrs by myself in the middle of my kitchen floor. It has quite a bit of space and the two middle doors actually open up into one big space so you could easily get baking pans and mixing bowls in there or leave the shelf out and it's plenty big enough for my Kitchen-aid monstrosity of a mixer. The drawers at the top are kind of small and don't open as deep as I'd like so it's definitely not a silverware drawer, but it works for some kitchen towels, measuring cups and smaller cutting boards. I love having a place for the roll of paper towels so it's no longer floating around the kitchen and the little spice rack on the other end is actually a nice feature so the stuff I use all the time is right at hand. I posted a shot of the back of the island because I hate the fact they never show you what it looks like and I want to know if it's gonna be ugly I don't want it! Thank heavens it's not. Yes, the bad part is, it is constantly out of stock so you will need to be patient, but I think you will be pleased you did.
