Beautiful sturdy island

Looks just like the picture. Took us about 4 hours to put it together because there were a few steps we misunderstood. Quality is great and it’s way more affordable than having one built for our new home. 10/10 with color, quality and the company fixed the 2 small issues we had immediately. Customer was great.

4.5 Stars only because the inside of one back board was slightly cracked. I Reinforced all seams with wood glue, worked fine. I ordered the white base unit with a stainless steel top. Installed with the wheels. I love the look and it compliments the other Crosley furniture that I have. Perfect height and surface for food prep??

Good product, some damage

I ordered the white cabinet with black countertop. While assembling, we discovered damage to the cabinet pieces (fortunately in less noticeable places) and a 10 inch scratch on the granite top. For what you are paying, it shouldn’t arrive like that.

The product is acceptable assembled. The description of the product did not explain the that assembly was required or to the degree it was required. It to 4 hours to assemble the cart; fours by someone who is familiar with tools and furniture assembly. I would never buy another piece of furniture from Houzz.

Very nice piece

This piece turned out very nice. Assembly was easy for me. There are a couple of issues with alignment of connectors but not enough to affect assembly. Only a small blemish on the top of one vertical piece that separates the doors.

disappointed

2 grown men took 4 hours to assemble. SMALL/NARROW. seems like doll house furniture when in proximity of the kitchen counters, but does provided desperately needed counter top space in our home and too much trouble to return. wood finish is nice color, though we are disappointed that there is SO much particle board (MDF) present in a piece costing OVER $*** !!!

Love the granite top!

After realizing that Part A was actually the granite top, assembly went smoothly. I would recommend two people to assemble. Together, it took about 2.5 hours to put together. So far, I love it! I am using it in place of my old microwave cart and to store serving dishes, etc.

None of the wooden dowels fit snuggly which makes for poor construction. Ikea furniture is more solid than this thing. It looks nice but I definitely do not recommend wasting your money on this cabinet.

Looks more expensive than it is

Mostly not hard to put together but you really need two people for some parts. The manufactured wood is soft and we had a few splits to repair. Although it seemed to be very well packed, the granite top split. Since it was a clean break we decided to repair it ourselves rather than have another one sent and meet the same fate. The finished product looks great and functions well. I bought this for my mother and when my aunt came over she decided to buy one too. Over all, I recommend it.

Nice Island

I really like this island. It arrived right on time, packaged very good. Instructions were simple, had it together myself within a couple hours! Has way more space inside then I originally thought so that was great! Only reason for the 4 stars is because it had a lot of spots where the black paint is chipped! Other then that it's a great island and the granite top is really beautiful!

Had some issues but overall happy.

Two of the pieces were kind of chipped but they went on the sides so it was fine. The overall "white finish" looked half assed on some boards like it wasn't painted right but luckily none of it faced the outside. I'm 5'0 so the height was great. I love that it has wheels and comes with the options of legs. Being on wheels we can out maybe 2 small chairs y'all enough for the island or be comfortable with someone being in front of behind it.

I love this island and it is the perfect addition to my small kitchen. It did take 2 people a couple of hours to build. It is very sturdy and solid. It comes with both legs and wheels. The granite top is a great touch. My only complaint is the smell which even after 1 week is still pretty strong, especially in the drawers. I wipe them down every day with a lemon scented cleaner and I assume it will eventually go away. Otherwise it is great!!

Really Nice Piece of Furniture

We love this kitchen island. It is very sturdy, has drawers and cabinets, along with a towel bar and paper towel holder. There is an option of casters or feet with glides. We chose the feet and this piece slides perfectly across my laminate floor. This is a complex build with many pieces and parts. It took my husband the better of a day to assemble all of the components.

Starting off, I was skeptical to purchase this island because it didn't have any reviews. I'm not one for purchasing anything without doing my homework. There where other island similar with great reviews but that's not the same, if you know what I mean. Well I had a considerable amount of rewards built up, so I said" I'll give it a shot" . I'm so happy I did, the quality is excellent, the shipping was extremely quick. Every thing was labeled as it should have been. I'm extremely impressed. I had a few minor issues, ( my own fault, I put a couple things upside down) it was late give me a break. Other that it was smooth sailing. This island looks fantastic it's truly a fantastic piece I would recommend to everyone and anyone. . You really only need one person to put the island together until it's time to put the granite top on, unless you're a Superhero !!!!

Do NOT Buy Formaldehyde. I’m not sensitive to smells but I opened all the windows. I said wow this smells familiar and it was strong. I use to work a funeral home and guess what I found when I flipped over the board? Big notice saying it’s compliant for formaldehyde. I can’t believe HD is selling this garbage now I have to box this up and bring to ups and it weighs a ton. Can’t bring to store either because they only give you credit.not happy.

Nice quality, great look

I was surprised how well everything was packaged. It was packed to prevent damage. The hardware was packed & marked well. Instructions were better than most. The granite top is heavy & pretty. It is white but has some light gray speckling which was a nice surprise. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the drawer bottoms & back panels are more like cardboard than wood...very thin. However overall I am very pleased with the product. Could it have more solid wood, yes, but then the price would be in the thousands. The packing of the granite was confusing because it came in a very heavy & sturdy crate. The picture in the instructions made it look like the crate material may be part of the top, but it wasn’t. So no fear. You can unscrew & pull out the slats of the crate & you will find the nice granite in a box between pieces of styrofoam & you will not need the crating material for installation.

Stunning cabinet

This kitchen island is nicer than the picture. The color is perfect for my custom kitchen cabinets. You will need to put together but it does not take that long. The instructions are easy to understand and it has pictures of each stage. This way if you don't understand you can look at the next picture that will assist you in putting the cabinet together. The piece really looks like a custom cabinet. You will enjoy it!

Great Kitchen Island. The Granite top is beautiful

Great Island with storage. The Granite tabletop is beautiful. I gave it 4 stars because the assembly instructions are terrible. I have assembled a lot of furniture but this one was a major pain. Took me over 3 hours. The other negative is 3 big stickers on the out side with made in china. Hard to get off you have to go slow or it will peel the paint. i still love it though.
