Made poorly

I really wanted to like this because it took me a long time to find the right style and size. Well, I've given it a few months and unfortunately it turns out this is made incredibly poorly and doesn't hold up to even light use. After moving it once, the legs nearly gave out. Then the drawer broke. Then the cabinet door broke. Eventually, the flimsy legs gave out entirely on on side and nearly broke my television. Save your money for better quality. Highly disappointing.

Decent MCM piece

I love the mid-century modern style of this TV cabinet. It had a few defects, crushed/torn back panel corner, scuffed edges. Luckily all of it was back pieces and so we didn't raise a fuss about replacement. But it is not ideal to pay for something that is new and get damaged goods in any capacity. It will fit our needs, once we get the rest of our things unpacked. There's nice grooves where the light color is, the drawer pull caps are pretty cheap looking, and the drawer slide does not glide well. It builds well, had good instructions, and is very solid feeling. Bonus for our cat who likes to lay under furniture too.

Nice, but so hard to assemble!

I loved the style of this and that's why I initially purchased it. After avoiding putting it together for a few weeks, I finally attempted it today. The build of it is incredibly difficult! After having countless wooden dowels snap and being almost done then having it collapse in the last step (twice!), I gave up. I read the other reviews that said the build was difficult, but I really didn't expect it to be this hard! I should've heeded that advice. For now, it's going to be unfinished until I have someone visit me that's willing to try to put the rest together.

Great media console

This is a very well constructed media console. It is MDF but the main structural pieces are thick and nearly as good as a solid piece of wood. It was fairly easy to put together. The only difficulty was in moving and positioning those main structural pieces which are quite heavy and long. It looks really good when complete and holds the 65" tv very well. I like the mid century modern look and for such a skinny console it has quite a bit of storage space available. I would definitely recommend this piece to anyone.

The black one is gorgeous in person. The stand was, delivered with some. Damage which we tried to hide but when you're in the middle of putting it together, it's difficult to stop without worrying about clutter and losing little pieces. Will work with overstock to see if replacement parts can be sent. The material is ikea-like so if you're looking for something more sturdy, I suggest you look elsewhere. We were fine with it. It was in our budget, fits our design and was simple to put together.

Do not get this! or anything by Manhattan Comfort. The base did not come in the box so i was screwed on step one. Called Manhattan Comfort for help. They were absolute zero help and their parts department is always closed. They want photos emailed and said it would take a week to get part to me. I ended up having Overstock pick it up via UPS for a full refund. I have read several reviews for Manhattan Comfort items on several websites and they all say the same thing. I love the style of it, but not worth the headache and lack of customer care.
