Historic iron works claw foot tub is perfect

I shopped for a claw foot tub for several weeks for my bathroom renovation and this tub fit perfectly, I have a bad knee and so I have to turn to my side to get out of the tub and no other tub I looked at was wide enough to allow me to do that. Plus, the length is perfect in that I am able to sit comfortably with my legs fully extended and that keeps me from sliding down into the water. The built in lumbar support is very comfortable. The cast iron holds heat longer than I expected. I love my tub!! Thanks

The recommend fixtures were not finished and the claw feet were sold separately.after receiving the tub I had to go back to the store and order the feet at a $400.00 plus extra cost. And i needed different piping that had a finish which was also extra, so i now have a $5000.00 bathtub.

This is a fabulous tub. However, the outside of the tub is NOT white. Every description that relates to this tub says white and the inside of the tub is, but the outside of the tub is a putty gray color. I called and could have returned it but would have had to wait another month, after this one was delayed a few weeks already, and had to pay return shipping of $150. We just paid to have the outside painted white. Pretty major disappointment with faucets direct website on what is otherwise a great tub. Maybe just buy somewhere where the descriptions are accurate.

I had always wanted an old fashioned claw foot cast iron tub - but usually they are hard to find. If you get a true antique you have a number of issues, and "new" reproductions can be cheap and poorly made. This unit is the real deal - it is high quality, heavy (good and bad, I guess) and really looks like it was a hundred years old. Classy bath - just like it should be.

Cast Iron porcelain tub is the reason for a full bathroom gut and remodel. We are planning to combine the unique aesthetic of the clawfoot tub mixed in with modern woodgrain tile on the floor and subway tile with a band of marble arabesque tile on the wall and the walk in shower. Complete the look with a chandelier above the tub.

What an excellent tub from Kohler. This tub is 16'' deep and 28'' across with a length of 55''. Huge is what I call this. Attaching the feet raises this to 20''. The rim has a wide 3'' lip and increases to 5'' at the back.

Great claw foot tub. Wider than most. Extremely heavy. Picture shows 28" riser tubes for faucet. 26" moves the faucet closer to the tub rim. Install the tub where you want it prior to cutting the holes for the drain and water supplies otherwise hard to get exactly where you want it.
