Cracked tank

I had same problem as the other ppl. Hairline crack same spot. Heard the drip. Toilet less than 3 y.o. whatever. All they sell us is trash. What a joke. American Standard is well aware, I'm sure. Smh.

ordered tanks twice, both cracked

I had one delivered to store , because the home delivery was cracked in half. I hoped it would not be cracked by then. This wasn't a small crack . The pieces rattling in the box . The customer service woman looked and talked like she hated me and talked negative about me to a customer for a cracked toilet tank. The customer was directing her to recheck

The tank had a blue tint on the rim of the tan and the finish was rough. not happy. The tank cover covered up the flaws.

I bought a AS Champion WC from Homedepot several years ago but the receipt which I kept says it is a Cadet 3. The tank broke, so going by my receipt description I ordered the wrong replacement. Not only was this a problem, but Homedepot handled my order was an epic disaster. The replacement that was delivered 3 times to the stores and they were delivered broken twice, each time the reorder was confusing and frustrating to me. When I finally got the replacement it was obviously the wrong tank and I had to return. Not wanting to go through the same pain again, I reorder somewhere else. After over 2 month of waiting and cancel contractor and repeated frustration , I finally replace my tank this week.

It replaced a 4117a

Used this to replace a 4117a tank. My bowl/base is one of the smooth sided toilets if that makes a difference. The tank that this replaced was a 1.6 gallon per flush unit, and had foam insulation inside the tank. Can't tell any difference in how it flushes, and haven't seen any sweating on the outside of the tank.

Could use better glazing quality

Manufacturing quality, particularly the glazing, could be better. But acceptable because the 'faults' aren't visible when installed.

The order took forever to arrive and them I get a product that I did not even order.

Works great!! It came with all the hardware in it including an adjustable flapper that makes the adjustments a whole lot easier!!
