The same size as my existing ones. The front latch lined up perfectly. The rear catch did not. I have to drill a new hole w/less than 1/4" of room to the glass to be able to use 2 screws; and then the 2d hole will be close to the existing, if not tear into it. It's holding with one screw on the rear so far.
Far superior to the existing locks that came with the windows.

Difficult with alignment to the connector.
Stronger than the vinyl one I replaced but too thick for the window I own. I had to force it to make it functional and bowing the window! Disappointed that Home Depot did not have a cross refernce for the correct spare parts that would fit the large quantities of windows I bought from them - don't you care about your customers who spend lots of money at your stores : (

One of the locks worked as expected and the other required some work to fit on the same window. Also, the lick mechanism seem to not align properly. Who knows, maybe user error???
