This is exactly what I've been looking for. A millivolt thermostat with the precision of a digital t-stat but without all the programmable features that we have no use for.

I needed to replace my Honeywell mechanical thermostat, which was malfunctioning. This was the perfect replacement. Easier to use, easier to read and maintains room temperature much more precisely. Would not hesitate to buy another.

Bought this to solve problem that pilot was lit, but burner wouldn't light. Problem turned out to be insufficient flame on the thermocouple (generator). Solution was to increase pilot flame so thermocouple provided 500 mV.

Finally got my friend from my heating company to install it for me a few days ago and it was an easy install and works perfectly. I can now just look and know the tem i set is the temp its at and holding perfectly. Beats the old fashioned dial that I had to put readers on to see what the thermostat read.

Poor quality

Up and down buttons have had poor response since first installation. We have had it for probably 2 years. A heater repair company installed it and it's been a hassle since. Our original thermostat lasted 60 years, this one about 2 1/2 years.

Failed after one month

The buttons function stopped working after one month of use. The dial was not illuminated which makes it less than easy to see the numbers.

Look elsewhere for a different thermostat. It works, but it feels cheap compared to others on the market. Slow response time too.

I have been using several different thermos recently as I am a property manager. Don't like the way it feels or handles. Functional yes, but I'm throwing it away.
