It looks like new.

I bought it to replace my old t'tat that was giving us trouble. it arrived faster than promised. You cannot tell it is a used thermostat. It came with a one-page instructions. installed it, added batteries and started working. I gave it 4-stars because I could not get the Tech Settings to go past Room Temp.

I really like this stat because it is really accurate and it responds immediately. After getting this one, I changed the downstairs unit out too. I will never use the older models again.

Easy to read temp. and easy to adjust.

Could be better

Has large screen that is not fully utilized. Switch space between COLD-OFF-HEAT is too short. For example, if you want to go from HEAT to OFF, you will probably go beyond OFF and turn on the COLD. Not enough space to comfortably change settings. Suggestion to PRO1 designers, look at a Honeywell, they don't have this problem. A good design is not brain surgery, it is mostly common sense. On the up side, all PRO1 thermostats fit on the same wall brackets. That's a smart design.

Simplicity

Large numerical temperature display. Accurate control. Furnace doesn't run as much & temperature is maintained. Easy to set up.
