Great replacement

My old unit died after about 20 years. Ordered this replacement unit and it was a breeze to switch out and it works great. Floors are warm again!

Good product to use for tempoary heat control!

I'm heating my house with space heaters and units like this one are controling the heaters that are providing zone heating throuhout the place. Someday after I replace my HVAC system I plan on using these little guys to control yhe heating of hot boxes that I use to cure epoxies and other compounds I use in my Amateur Radio hobby!

Replacement for SunTouch 500650 Thermostat

I have SunTouch TapeMats installed for heating tile floor. The control board on my 2004 SunTouch model 500650 thermostat gave an error and would not heat the floor. I purchased the TH115-A-120S as a replacement thermostat. The TH115-A-120S comes with the faceplate control panel (thermostat) plugged into a base switch (Model PB112-120S); both items come together in the box. My existing SunTouch base switch is the same PB112 model. I simply plugged the new thermostat (Aube TH115-A-120S) into the existing base and the floor heating works. I did not have to install the new Aube PB112 switch which saves time. My existing PB112 switch is already wired to the 120V supply and attached to the floor temperature sensor. The thermostat has three settings on the back of the control panel. I set as follows: degrees F with a 12 hr time format, Early Start, Floor temperature sensor. That last setting has the option for Ambient temperature control. For now I'm using the floor temperature sensor.

Nice Thermostat

Installed one several weeks ago and once I figured out the quirks and then the switches on the back, I like it. 7 day program is nice. Ordered two more for the other side of the house and installed quick and easy, less than 5 minutes now that I know what I am doing with it. I like the graphic showing how much (estimated) heat it is running. Shows it is not running full bore to keep the rooms heated

I bought this since it was one of very few that listed the amps it could handle (which was enough for my two baseboard heaters) and it is programmable and vertical to fit the existing box nicely. The hidden controls is a nice touch to keep it the size of the box.

Easy to install and works very good and use for my floor heaters when the electric power go out and the heaters turn on without worry when I have to go out for couple days and keeps my house warm so this is a good thermostat thats why I bought 2 units absolutely positive.

This was a good replacement for an original unit that has lasted 12 years. Did not have the cgfi but was half price. Hopefully last as long as original thermostat.

I used this thermostat on a electric heater, 1500 watt wall unit in my cottage. Works excellent and keeps perfect temperature. All kinds of settings for temperature, days, vacation and a easy override. Excellent directions.

Works well. I like the variable power aspect and the timer. One star off because the automatic (home vs away) temperature settings are fixed (63 F and 70F) and cannot be adjusted by the user. You can manually increase or decrease the temperature but it only stays where you set it if it is in manual mode, or until the next time for an automatic change.

Replace a defective thermostat for heated radiant floor tile

Apparently Honeywell makes most of these and sells them under various brand names.
