Won't stay open.

Bought two of these yesterday (08/21/24), installed both today and neither would stay in the up position. I made sure to adjust them all the way forward to allow the seat to be lifted as far back as possible and still, both would not stay up. Eventually got one to stay up by holding it completely up for about 30 seconds. But once you closed it you had to do that each time. Ended up talking both off and will return them.

We like *almost* everything about it. It's solid enough that I don't feel like I'm falling through when I sit on it to monitor my kids in the bath; the soft close is great so we wouldn't hear it's slamming 12,000 times a day when my kids use it; it stays put and doesn't wiggle around like the old plastic one; and it looks nice. BUT the inner ring does not stay up for someone who needs to stand to go. It won't stay all the way back and starts to (soft) close immediately. So we have to return it. Two stars because this is such a basic feature of any toilet seat that I'm amazed that it doesn't work. I'm disappointed and really wish it would have!

Good, value-priced slow close seat. Very easy to install and worth, and doesn't have a logo that would show mismatch between seat and toilet.

Not designed for those who stand

Not designed for those who stand. The upper lid overlaps the seat in a wsy that hinders just reaching down and lifting both together to do your business. The seat must be lifted by the inner edge and there is no front lip for lifting.

Best reading seat in the house. Used on a daily basis.

A Quality Product

Excellent product at a very reasonable price. Worked well with the portable bidet in place whereas the previous seat did not and the lid would slam shut.
