this was an item that our local stores didn't have in stock and would take time to order . Walmart was much quicker to get assurance of delivery so we chose them.

Unit received fitted off center causing a front landing pad to quickly fail. (hitting atop toilet rim) Manufacturing defect. Facing toilet cover leaves about one-half inch of rim exposed,

soft close broke and easy to scratch

soft close feature broke after a few years. noticed a lot of wear on the seat after a while, like and plastic is soft.

This Toilet seat, by far, IS the best seat you couild have in your bathroom! The Soft Close Feature just takes it over the top and the little EDGE on the actual seat, For lifting, is something other toilet seats just don't have!

The seat is fine. It didn’t get 5 stars because the installation instructions were so poorly wrote and actually incorrect. Who has to call tech support to put in a toilet seat ? Even their tech person told me the instructions were incorrect.

Feels slightly less firm than the wood one I am replacing.

Terrible plastic seat. Waste of money. Will replace this seat with another brand.

Not recommended

It is too expensive for a toilet seat. It was confusing to install. It bounced off a few times.

Comfortable

I replaced the seat on a brand new toilet because it was so pinchy and uncomfortable, and I am not a large person. Ridiculous that a toilet seat would be so uncomfortable to sit on that it needed to be replaced. This one is considerably better.

Made in China- American Standard toilet seat

this American Standard toilet seat fits my Kholer perfectly, good quality and materials of construction. Other than slow close mechanism takes forever to lower the seat and the installation instructions need much improvement, everything else is perfect. Seat removal for cleaning is easy but not intuitive, good idea to save the instruction sheet for future reference.

Well made, attractive and comfortable seat.

Love this seat. It's nice looking and so comfortable. My only issue is that it's very tight (hinges maybe?) to the point that the seat has some resistance to it when lifting it up and sometimes doesn't stay up unless you're sitting there keeping it up. It's a little weird, hence I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. But I still love it and would buy it again.
