Mostly satisfied.

I’ve had gates like this before but I think the support “cups” you screw into the wall are not needed for every scenario. I have a medius and small dog I wanted to prevent from coming upstairs and using the rubber stoppers alone would have sufficed. Buyers, test it out first fully tightened before you decide to drill into your walls. If the gate is secure, skip the drilling part because that will correct you to commit to that location.

Works as advertised. Cat door is not removable

Works great, but I wish the cat door was removable. If you're always going to keep the cat gate open it would make sense for it to be removable so you don't risk tripping or running into it while it's ajar. While the cat gate is closed our cat don't like jumping over the gate. Cats are used to jumping much higher than the gate but onto something (like a counter or sofa, etc.), but they aren't used to arcing over the gate.

Excellent! I was skeptical but I am very happy with it. I recently moved back in with my ex for financial reasons who had my beloved 20 yr old Siamese here, after 3 years away. I couldn't take him where I went because he is so old and there were other animals there. Anyway, when I returned here, I brought 3 new kitties, much younger with me and I was very afraid of how to introduce them gradually and safely. My old boy stays in my room all the time so I got this gate so they could safely meet each other. It fits perfectly in my doorway and I can still shut my door with it in place. I also open it to get myself through. The small pet door is also very nice. I was very concerned that the new kitties would jump the gate but they never have. The 3 are about 4 or 5 years old, so they are adults and capable of jumping it but they have not harrassed my old boy at all. They seem to sense that he is old and frail and no threat to him. This gate has worked beautifully for introducing my elderly kitty that has never seen or been around other pets to my 3 younger kitties.

I bought several gates to keep my dog out of the cat's food. These are really nice. Easy to assemble. It opens for me to walk through - other gates have to be taken down or climbed over - PITA. When I leave - I can close the big gate and open the cat door. The dog isn't happy - he can't snarf up all the cat's food. Cat loves it! Less expensive than other gates - but quality is better.
