I really love this divider it is a piece of ART! I'm not using it as a divider but as an accent piece with light behind it for night time enjoyment. It is well made and gorgeous.

Received the room divider about a week ago and it is just beautiful! So well packed that it took a little while to get it out of the box but glad for the packing because it was totally unharmed. Very, very pleased!

I knew It would be beautiful but it is beyond my expectations . It is very sturdy, and the craftmanship suburb . I plan on having it made into a stunning headboard.

Room Divider

This was a lovely piece. I am using it as a headboard for a full-size bed. There were a couple of cracks in it, but I think it lends to the charm of the piece.

The smell is awful, the design divine...

Love, love, love (but super *stinky*). This is a great folding divider. It's solid carved wood. It arrived in perfect condition, but it had/has an incredibly acrid smell of some chemical (formaldehyde?) that burns the eyes, nose, and throat. The intended use was a an outdoor sunscreen/lattice over a covered porch that gets a LOT of California sunshine. After numerous months, the smell is still so bad, I'd return it if I could. The screen has been relegated to the backyard, in a distant corner where the smell doesn't waft too badly. Would never buy again.

UPDATE: formaldehyde is too strong to use indoors. Is a new garden decoration now. Dropped review to 2 stars as I can't use it as intended and there was no warning of the chemical. Debated 1 star, but is still a lovely idea for design, just badly executed. -- It's pretty. The gold gives it a feel of wood tone, too, which I'm glad for since the base is all white. I was thinking I could sand it down to reveal some real wood, but I don't know that what's underneath the paint would look good when exposed. My issue: formaldehyde. It seems to be completely soaked in it. Came with paperwork warning of the formaldehyde, but I don't see the warning anywhere in the product description here. It smells. It is currently airing out outside. I hope the fumes die down eventually and I can use it indoors. If not, I guess it's my new garden decor, cuz it will be impossible to return in the packaging it came in.

The mango wood is very beautifully hand carved and sturdy. The antiqued white finish has a faint burnished gold wash that is truly elegant.
