Timeless Classic

I gave this five stars not because it's a great fixture (it's not), but because it was exactly what I needed. There are uses for a fixture like this (I create custom shades for them), and they have gotten much harder to find since the big box stores realized that they had to increase the dollar amount of the lowest priced fixture they were going to let you walk out of the store with, so they cut this one from the bottom of the list.

Simple bathroom sconces

These are great, reasonably priced, simple bathroom sconces that I was afraid were no longer made. My electrician commented that Progress doesn't change what isn't broken. Thinking I might need a match in the future, I ordered another. But--speaking of broken--I dropped it on the cellar stairs and broke the shade. At least I'll have the assembly if I need another one!

Switch at fixture troublesome

This fixture was easy to install and lasted 4 years until the switch at the fixture bottom went faulty. power remains at socket but faulty switch prevents light from illumenating.

I have installed over 75 of these light fixtures during the last 3 years. Inexpensive. Easy to install. Huge problem. The switch has ceased working in at least 8 of them. Many of them have power supplied thru a wall switch, but one can not get at the wiring to circumvent. The solution is to purchase another fixture. Buyer beware if you want a 100% trouble free item.

Nice, simple

Nice item if purchased on sale

I had several earlier version of this light. One broke so I was looking to replace it. This one had the same number and looked like it but did not match so I had to return it.

Nice Light

I have a mid mod ranch that had a few of these that the original owner left intact, mostly in the finished basement. Unfortunately, many of the wall lights had been discarded in the 80 when the owner decided that a mid mod ranch needed floral wall paper, gaudy brass light fixtures. I'm glad home depot has the good sense to carry this item. It is simple and has clean lines that look right in many of the homes built in the postwar era. I feel that it is one of the most attractive wall sconces that any of the big box retailers carry.

Good light for the price.

The light was going in the basement hall and I did not want to spend a lot of money so this fit the bill for the application.

Metro Look for Less

Seems this lamp only comes in white. I spray-painted it silver and it adds a terrific metro-retro look to my contemporary bathroom.
