the condition of the light was fine but it does show a lot of the bulb underneath so if you have a lower ceiling it's likely you'll see a fair amount of bulb exposed from the sides.

Frosted light
This was exactly what I was expecting. The glass is lightly frosted. The chain also came with a small white string that you have the option of using if needed. I didn't. Works perfect.
I bought this because our hall light had a switch...
I bought this because our hall light had a switch in a very inconvenient spot. Now I can leave the switch on all the time, and just use the pull cord to turn the light on and off.

Disappointed
This light fixture is not for a room with a low ceiling after installing which took a bit of effort because the all thread was too short to get the glass on. Had to take it down and fix it. After sitting down and being pretty proud of my work being a widow you could see the light bulbs. Not good had to order something different
A POOR rating....it took three weeks to come into the...
A POOR rating....it took three weeks to come into the store...and DID NOT work when it was installed...VERY disappointing as we do alot of shopping at Home Depot. We then had to buy the identical fixture at a local hardware store, paid a little more for it, but it worked perfectly.
